The brakes work great, but I got less than 2000 miles out of them and now I am metal to metal on stoptech Cryo rotors. Rears look fine, just the fronts. These POS just cost me $500.
I have had other sets and all those were great, that’s the reason I went with them. Now, they do destroy your rotors over the long-term use. But they stop great.

Brakes squealed after putting these on and hasn’t stopped. I’ve had these on for over a year now. I even had new rotors put on and they still squeal.
just able –
Had these on my F350 dually paired with a set of power slot cryo rotors for seven years. I drive a heavy load all of the time and sometimes I take it in the mountains. They performed very well. No fade. I always felt safe. I just changed out the rotors. They were getting rough, and you can’t have them resurfaced. Since I was going to change them out, I went ahead and order a new set of the same pads. The new pads are installed and, while a little noisy at times, perform great. The noise is expected as the manufacturer states it. It’s a trade off. Supreme stopping power for the a little squeal. The old pads had about 50% wear.

Great pads so far about 10k on them quiet and great stopping power on stock replacement rotors tow heavy loads frequently will review again after more miles

so my old brake shoes got oil on them {Raybestos} they were top line for trucks. But when I put the HAWK brakes for my F250 [1999] not only the stopping power increased but the ABS system engaged much sooner I’am quite impressed with the brakes they also match the rear brakes which are HAWK also. Don’t know about longevity but the rears have been in for 3 years an noticed a difference then that’s why I put them in the front. Super Duty bakes pads all around. Thanks!

I purchased these for a 1999 F350 that tows at the upper legal limits. OEM Ford pads are fair with heavy loads. I then moved on the EBC Yellow Pads for a few years until the last two sets only lasted 20k and 15k respectively. The final set also had way too much fade. Maybe EBC is having QC issues or maybe someone re-boxed the last two sets I received from AMAZON. IDK
Moving forward, I had heard good things about the Hawk Red Pads so I thought I’d give them a try and I am impressed so far. It does take a bit of time to get them seated and conditioned so don’t install them and immediately hook up to a trailer and expect to stop well. You definitely need to condition them. Follow the instructions on the Hawk site and you’ll be impressed with the ability of these pads. If they last more than 50k, they’ll be much better than the old Yellow EBC’s.

These pads last a long time. And they grab extremely well. I had problems with my rotors warping in the past and since I’ve put these pads on I have had no more warping. 2001 Ford excursion

2004 F-250 SD – These are Great Breaks, I am running these with stock rotors and my Stopping power is now far superior over stock ford Brake pads. I Tow a 25ft Boat weighing in at 8000 Lbs loaded with gear including trailer. Not a peep of sound.
