I have been a long time Pirelli customer until now. I put these tires on my Grand Cherokee about 6 months ago replacing the Goodyear tires that came on it from Jeep. I got almost 60 k out of them. Now mind you I have been working from home for the better part of a year due to the pandemic so these tires have had a very easy life just being used for everyday errands. They have less than 5k on them I do not tow or haul anything. They have been used lightly at best. The back passenger tire blew the inside sidewall at about 50mph with no load in the car. There was nothing in the road just smooth paved road in the county on a Sunday.

Called Pirelli for guidance on Monday morning got a customer service representative name Michell who should really find another career where she gets paid to be rude and uncaring. She started the conversation by basically just reciting Pirelli rules and regs. She proceeded to tell me all the things I could have done to cause the blowout. She never asked me anything about the tire not even the model, how many miles were on it, nothing, she could have care less. She told me I could pay if I wanted to know if the failure was caused by poor workmanship and then said “it most likely wouldn’t be covered anyway cause there really isn’t a warranty on this particular tire for manufactures defects”. She then abruptly asked if I was done and said “I’ve told you our rules”.
She was really unbelievably frustratingly rude. Clearly not a solution oriented person.

So I emailed Pirelli only to be replied to with short canned responses. It’s very clear that they do not promote a culture of any type of customer service.

I don’t usually post negative comments or reviews at all but Pirelli’s star customer service rep MICHELL in the US changed my mind. If your going to buy Pirelli’s know your on your own. There is no warranty (65000 means nothing) nor do they even understand the concept of retaining good customers.

Bought a 2017 Dodge Durango R/T AWD and these came on it from the factory. Pirelli says they are 65,000 mile tires but I only got about 43,000 out of mine, maybe the fact of the all wheel drive? Quiet, very reliable on wet roads, pulled many trailers with them and no uneven wear. Rotated at every oil change. Just ordered my 2nd set.
