Installed in a 2015 Jeep JK wrangler. I did have to dremel out a spot but not hard to install at all.

Install note: For the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma you need to trim the dash openings and use a self tapping screw for the forward most hole. I used a large, heavy duty utility knife and some end snippers, the plastic is relatively soft and easy to carve a little at a time. The factory grilles fit over perfectly once you get the speakers positioned.
As far as an upgrade it’s worth every penny of 55 dollars. The factory JBL dash speakers had no clarity compared to these and they really livened up the theater of sound in the truck. They’re a tad louder than the others and they retain the 2 ohm impedance of stock JBL. I measured 2.3 ohms per speaker.
Biggest change was better highs, some midrange and much better clarity. When listening to digital media, the sound is more theater like even with the remaining speakers still stock. I’m hearing the nice lows from the doors now too, this will keep me happy until I have the means to build something special.

I originally got these for my Tacoma JBL package to upgrade the front speakers but they didn’t fit. Was going to send them back, but then checked to see if they fit my wife’s Rav4 with stock non-JBL package and they were a perfect match. I got the speaker connectors and they were literally 5 minute install with only a screw driver needed.
The sound on these is fantastic right out the gates. The stock speakers that were pulled out were 4ohm and these are 2.7ohm with a high DB sensitivity so with a lower ohm, that really adds volume but it also is much clearer too. JBL always has been impressive for their high sound quality, low ohm speakers which leads to higher volume on lower power.
Usually speakers won’t make a big difference to an all-stock system without adding an amp or changing the head unit, but these have proven to be a major upgrade. Very happy with how it turned out.

Easy to install in RAV4. The sound is so much better, that I can barely hear the other speakers.

Put these in the dash of my Ram 1500 with the optional Alpine system. Night and day difference. The factory speakers were like listening to tin cans with a string between them compared to these. Ohm match were close enough to not make a difference in volume. The fit was perfect and screw holes matched up perfectly. For just a few bucks what a difference. Just plug and play with optional speaker wire adapters. If you want to upgrade your sound without paying $$$$ update your speakers to JBL’s in your doors and dashboard.

Installed these as dash speakers in my 2015 RAM Crew-Cab 1500 using the stock head-unit. I also had previously installed four 6X9 Kickers in the doors and a 600W LoPro 8in sub behind the back seat. When I first installed these JBL GX328 3-1/2, they were kind of tinty and significantly louder than the rest of the system, even with the fader almost full rear. A little research and I found that while these are 4ohm speakers the factory dash speakers were 8 ohms. So I added a 5 ohm resister and a 4in bass blocker to each speaker and now my system is well balanced and these speakers, as part of the entire system – sound GREAT! The sound-stage and overall tonal quality are just about as close to perfect as you can get. I mostly listen to classic rock and current blues/rockers like Joe Bonamassa and Gov’t Mule and let me tell you, this system sounds incredible with kick in the pants bass, great mids, and clear but not overbearing highs. Happy, I am. BTW, everything -except the truck- is available from Amazon. I’m now eyeing an Alpine MRV-F300, but I’m not sure.

Great replacement speakers for the dash in RAV4 with stock factory stereo. Takes about 5 minutes per side to replace. Small plastic pry bar or screwdriver
takes the cover off and 2 10mm screws hold the speaker in. Sound quality difference is impressive. Wait until you see the lame speakers that came with the car. Toyota should be embarrassed. I had better speakers in an old little transistor radio I had in high school. Well worth the money and they are often on sale. Get the RED WOLF wiring adapter for easy plug in wiring.

Great sounding more bass and treble than the Toyota factory JBL’s at a good price. I had to modify wiring adapters but overall worth the end result.
