Nice speakers but larger than 3.5″. I got them to fit in my 1987 442s dash but there was no way, no how the covers were going back on. So, I’m not using them. I boxed them up for another future project on a rainy day.

Bought these for a 2015 Ram Rebel sound quality is great a lot better than stock install was a little difficult being that it is a tight space to work in and figment is a little tight takes a minute to seat them in just right but all in all great sound and great price would recommend to others if they want to upgrade from stock.

Sound quality was crisp and excellent. Only downfall was that they were not direct fit as stated. Had to do some trim work but was worth it.

I purposely picked this speaker due to low power handling compare to other brand for my Camry 2024. I don’t want too loud speaker on dash that causing imbalance between front and back sound.
This mid range vocal is SMOOTH and CLEAN, treble is soft but clear and also CLEAN.

Normally iam a huge fan of rockford for sound quality. Not the case with these. Right after installing the speakers have a crackling noise. Their only 20w rms and 40w max.

I bought these to replace the headrest speakers in my 96 Miata M Edition. They are very similar to the stock speakers that were in there, except they have a much larger magnet and the mounting brackets are very slightly different. The larger magnet made them stick out a tiny bit further from the headrest mount, so I needed to modify the plastic cover a little to the speaker would be unobstructed. I used a Dremel – it was super easy, took me about 5 minutes. They also bolted directly into the stock mounts, I just had to bend one corner of one side of the bracket by about 1/4″.
Stock speakers were 8ohm, these are 4ohm. That is actually an improvement, using less power to create more sound. These are a VAST improvement over the stock speakers. They’re almost TOO pronounced, but I was able to find a good speaker balance. Even though they don’t really have “rich” bass or a low frequency range, they still sound great. They add some punch to the bass produced by the door speakers. They’re perfect for the headrest.

Installed in a 86 Buick Regal. There is VERY limited space as these are tucked under the dash panel at the bottom of the windshield. I undermounted them and the tweeters still hit the dash panel, so I had to add spacers to lower them a bit more. I had clearance under the magnets to do this. Not very difficult but tedious and time consuming. Happy with the product overall, very impressed with the shipping. Would shop this vendor again.
