Light bulbs work fine. I installed a set almost 2 years ago with no problems thus far. My car sets them on low beam automatically during the day so the bulbs get lots of use, not just at night. Pricy, but if you’re in the market, they’re among the best out there. Outlasted my Sylvania replacement bulbs by a factor of two so far. I found they actually were equal to 100 watt halogen, as I ran one of each for a while in the same vehicle but preferred these to the 100 W, as they were equally bright but had a better cast.

Provides what is promised. 4000k color from halogen bulbs with clean equal distribution of lighting. Farther for sure, whiter for sure. Love how I don’t have to modify my car by splicing, cutting, adding harness, code canceler, or anything that will blind on coming traffic. You will be 95% happy if you are not excessive HID brightness. For halogens these provide clean 4000k look. Easy to install. I believe PIAA gives 1 years warranty.
I said 95% happy for a reason. IF they last 1.5 years, 100% happy. Never owned PIAA, anything over 1.5 years, and i’ll be happy!

I used these bulbs to replace the old ones in my 2003 Corvette. After having a hard time to see in the dark and constantly using my high beams to see far enough to avoid road debris, I looked to not only replace my light bulbs but to improve from the OE. I didn’t feel convinced that these are better than what the car came with from the factory but still very bright after replacing my old bulbs

I installed this on my Honda Civic 2009. They’re brighter that the OEM light bulbs and I’m very happy about that. About the “xtreme white”, don’t expect xenon-like white light, in the end it’s just a filament getting really hot so the light color will tend to be yellowish, although compared with OEMs it does look “whiter”.
I have been using them for a month and I’ve seen no signals of light diminishing, nor had any problems with them. Note that I used common rubber gloves for the installation to prevent any skin contact with the glass of the bulb, I’ve been told that this can somehow alter its lifetime.
If you like the look of your OEM lights but want a brighter bulbs then I’d recommend this, if you’re looking for xenon-like white light these are not for you, non any halogen lights 🙂

I must say that these have helped immensely compared to the OEM headlights in my 2012 Civic. I have no complaints at all. I replaced all my headlights, lo beam, hi beam, as well as fog lamps with PIAA bulbs
The only issue I had is that 1 low beam bulb burnt out only after 11 months after buying them on Amazon..
But I emailed Amazon, and asked if there was any warranty period on these bulbs, as I know in store, its usually a 12 month warranty, and I was surprised when I got an email stating I was being reimbursed the cost I paid for the pair of lo beam PIAA bulbs as well as the shipping costs that were incurred for the purchase.
I didn’t expect that response, and I was very impressed with Amazon’s customer service.
I re ordered the same bulbs again, and hoping that 1 bulb was just a fluke it burnt out so soon.

Update…..Less then a year later after the one headlight that I had replaced under warranty, it burned out once again.. There was no warranty on this one, as it was already replaced under warranty.
They are great headlights, but the longevity isn’t very good.. So unless you are prepared to spend 60 dollars plus taxes and shipping every year for these, you might want to think twice.

I’ve become a real fan of Xtreme White bulbs and now put them in all of my nine vehicles (I submit PIAA should give me a volume disount!).
I love the white bright light when I’m driving at night. I’m not blinding oncoming drivers, but I get a much improved view of the road ahead. Even after a few years of using these; I still take note of the improved vision.
What I don’t care for is that they tend to not last as well as stock type bulbs. That said, it isn’t a huge difference. I tend to get a year life out of my PIAA Xtreme White bulbs compared to, perhaps 16 months on a standard bulb. They are on whenever I am driving, day or night. I don’t have metrics to support this, but my impression is that bulb life of these has improved from when they first came out.

I purchased these December 7, 2014. I purchased booth the 9006 and 9005, replacing both low and high beams on my 2009 Civic. In September 2015, the driver’s side low beam went out. I got it covered by the PIAA 1 year warranty through piaa.com. It’s December 21, 2015. I got in my car after work, turning my headlights on to drive home. The passenger side is out. Out of the low beam bulbs, I’ve had to replace both in 1 year 2 weeks to the date. Since the passenger side is out of warranty, even if I pleaded my case, I’m not likely to go back to them. The passenger side is especially tricky to get out of the ’09 Civic and I’m not doing it every year. I’ll be looking for other bulbs. When they do work, they work great. My problem is longevity. Yes, I was aware the rule of thumb, ‘brighter the bulb, less lifetime’.
As noted, my high beams (9005) replaced at the same time still work great.

I replaced both lights in my wife’s 2007 Civic sedan in April or May 2016. Now the right light is out (Jan 2018). It did not seem to last very long.
My 2008 Civic has original headlamp bulbs after 9.5 years.
Nice and white and certainly better than original lights, but at $42.30 each I would have hoped they would last a little longer.

Well here we are at the review stage. First off I bought these for lows and highs on my 2007 Honda civic. I really like the color tone, its not yellow by any means. These are mainly a white color with just a tint of blue. The only time you can tell the blue tone is when you are in another car looking back at your headlights dead on. But when driving the lights look white and very bright. The range of these are great, they also make the street signs light up unbelievably well.. even from a far distance.
What I do not like is that I bought these about 14 to 15 months ago and one of them burnt out already on the car. Talk about a disappointment. All I hear about these are supposed to be bright with good color and have a long life. Well these do not have a long life to them. I will not be buying this again for a replacement bulb. For all you Honda Civic owners out there you know how much of a pain it is to replace the headlights on these cars. I am not willing to take the front of my car off or go through the tire well to change out the headlights yearly. Let alone buying these headlights yearly either .. good for them .. not so much for me.
Also I see that the replacement is 1 year, thats super convenient huh.
