I had a check-engine light , diagnostic reported a “small leak in Evaporator”; I was able to clear the code without having to go to the dealer. If the code reappears 3 times then it will go to the mechanic but at least I will know what is wrong and won’t be overcharged. At over $75/hr “stealership” service charge and a diagnostic fee of $250, this was well worth the cost.

Got this to read a check engine code light. It was pretty simple to hook up and get the reading. The instruction booklet was not much bigger than a postage stamp so get your magnifying glass out. The instructions were a bit complicated but I got all that I needed out of it so far. It works and was very fast. It is a handy tool to have.
