Initially couldn’t update, but customer service took care of issue in a timely manner. Couldn’t ask for more from this scanner for the price point. Does have active functions, you can read all function inputs in real time, when you tap on fault codes, it calls up codes related videos and articles on the fix. Love that feature. It’s fast, easy to get up to speed and intuitive. Comfortable to handle and text is adjustable for older eyes. Wouldn’t change a thing

I purchase this item based on its reviews. Once I received it, I couldn’t wait to put it to work. Which I did, and it gave me a very detailed report, which I thought was awesome and I was like wow this is a great product. When I tried to register the product, I did not let me and said that the serial number was not marked as sold. Second there is a feature that lets you sign in to an email account. I signed onto my Microsoft account then the device said that the Microsoft application was outdated and I needed to download the update on the Google play store. So I try to sign in my Google account on the device then the device stated that it is a unsecured browser to use another. So at that point, I decided to reset to factory settings. After the reset, I still had all the problems and on the home screen of the device, the make of vehicles are no longer popping up. That was enough for me to throw in the towel and see future problems on the way. Then I realized that it was made in China. I need something made in the USA.

Easy to use, lots of features, and free updates. Works great, already used it to force a DPF regeneration on my ecodiesel Jeep.

So I’m guessing to add a charger would have been to much. Anyways, it charges using a USB-C cord, doesn’t seem to charge on all USB plugs, worked with the standard Charger supplied with Amazon’s Fire tablets, but didn’t charge with some other chargers. So if you have issues, just keep plugging it in and wait 10 minutes and see if it actually is charging

I powered the code reader up, registered it, performed updates and read the codes in my Jeep. Worked fine. I need to read the instructions, but I was able to fumble my way through the menu.
