Fit and finish seems pretty good. No immediate failures. I have not jacked up any main battle tanks with it or anything, but it is a big hefty bottle jack, and I feel it may really have something similar to the 20 ton rating on the label. I hope to not actually ever test that though.

Everyone makes these same Jack’s. The red one is a low cost 6 ton from another manufacturer, I’ve had forever, and it works fine. The new 20 ton jack doesn’t have the handle hardware that keeps the handle together, so it’s not great that way. I have not found that any of these jack’s are bled when you get them. Other than the 20 ton jack being super slow, it’s price was fair and it is welded as described.

Needing to replace several structural posts on my deck ranging from 32 inches up to 8 foot in height. I spent hours combing through Amazon reviews to find a product that didn’t have every 3rd or 4th reviews talking about how the product failed. For the work I was doing, even a slight product failure would not only result in thousands of dollars in damage, but it would also create a dangerous work environment. Luckily, everything i reviewed on Amazon and through other sites kept brining me back to this one product. Since my original purchase of 2 of these. I’ve used them numerous times, without a single hiccup in their performance.
Lift capacity was 20 ton, and I purchased two. Their size is small enough for easy storage but strong enough for the biggest jobs. I especially liked the ability to increase the height by unscrewing and extending the top.

I had to replace a rotted post under my barn and two of these did a great job on top of cribbing. Lifted whole side of barn 3/4 inch to remove post, reset the foundation granite, and install new post. They worked well, and held the load without bleeding down. Easily dropped down when release valve was turned. Very good value.

Tried it once without lifting the truck thank goodness. Raise it up and when you let it down it leaks 1/4 tsp of oil each time. Not safe to use for any lifting.

Purchased this jack as a replacement for my press. I dont use it very often but when I need it, it needs to work. Had this jack less than a year (still within warranty) and used it about 5 times. Tried using it the other day and it lost all pressure and was leaking down. It was still under warranty so I contacted the company. They refused to send a replacement and instead wanted me to diagnose the issue so they could send me rebuild parts. I dont have the time to do that nor should I have to when the item is still under warranty. Will never buy a product from this company again. Save your money and buy one from harbor freight. At least they will give you a full replacement during the warranty period.
