Sturdy and heavy! This is a little tank!
I’m a bit disappointed tho as it is incredibly slow to raise to full height. I don’t know how much of it is made in the USA but way nicer than the China junk. However it’s not as good as the OTC I’m used to. Would get another of those but now made in China.🤮

This jack is a monster. I gave up on cheap tools a long time ago, and part of that was kissing goodbye my Craftsman 3 Ton Floor Jack, Jack Stands and Creeper Set by Craftsman. I sold it to a friend. He’s happy. I’m happier. The pictures are of unboxing and side by side comparison.
If you buy this jack you can expect a few things: Top notch workmanship and quality, this is as made in the USA as anything possibly can be these days. This jack has an actual swivel socket to release pressure. This Hein-Werner comes with a parts diagram/manual and you can order every single individual seal or replacement part. The handle is one piece and is so heavy the jack practically pumps itself. Speaking of heavy, you might need this jack’s baby brother to lift this jack up off the floor.
With freight delivery, this jack came second day, arrived on a pallet and the driver was kind enough to wheel it up the driveway for me. Freight weight: 158 lbs

The box and packaging styrofoam did not fair as well.
I am in the process of having UPS inspect shipping damage before returning the same jack from another warehouse shipped via UPS.
This jack arrived in a box designed for protecting a 20 lb. object, not a 120 lb. object. The box says “Made in China” and is a normal thin cardboard box with minimum styrofoam protection. Styrofoam can not handle 120 lbs. moving around. Thick corrugated cardboard with wooden blocks might.
This is a well made jack that you can get many non-structural parts for in the future. Hein-Werner will be there just like they are for my 40 year old orange Hein-Werner 1 1/4 ton O’Boy jack. I think Wein-Werner’s claim of involvement amounts to adding oil and possibly testing – then putting back in the shipping box.
Hein-Werner is responsible for the shipping damage by allowing cheap Chinese packaging.
Buy these current ill-packaged jacks from a vendor who will ship on a palette. Pay the extra $100. UPS’s sorting and transfer process can’t not damage these jacks in Chinese boxes. See other people’s reviews of UPS shipping damage.

Stopped working after first use…. do not buy this jack.
Not only did my car get stuck up on the jack stands due to this thing not working the second time I went to use it… I had to get a refund on the jack which took forever (1 month),
I now have to get rid of the jack body (125 lbs of useless steel) as they seller did not want it back because it would cost too much to ship back. I had to take the handle fork off the jack (to ensure the jack was useless) and ship it back to the manufacturer as proof. I now have to get rid of the rest of the 125 lb jack on my own…. great!!!
Think twice before you buy this jack. It looks great and is very sturdy to look at but the fatal flaw is in the quality of the power unit. I now see more and more reviews on this jack online that say stopped working after first or second use. Hate to say it but my 25 yr old craftsman quality is a thing of the past on these new jacks. Figured i was getting a great jack at this price. I now have a harbor freight daytona jack… very nice jack for the price and if it breaks in 3 yrs i take it to a local store and get a new one no questions for $200.

The hydraulics are faulty. The jack never held pressure, and eventually, with minimal use, the hydraulics failed altogether.
I called the company to request a new pump while the jack was under warranty. The hydraulic pump was out of stock, and now that the warranty has expired, Hein Warner is not replacing the pump, even though the issue was reported during the warranty timeframe.
I read through the comments and saw other people had the same issue.
I am disappointed with this jack and even more disappointed with the customer service

Easily lifts our cars and trucks without struggling. The 2 ton HW floor jack continues to serve us well even after 15 years and numerous hydraulic fluid changes but struggles and little bit. Highly recommended though not made in USA like our 2 ton jack. It shows assembled in the USA with US and global parts.
