Amazing Customer –
Yes, this stuff is expensive… but if you read the reviews you’ll find there is nothing better for the money, but you can pay a lot more for something that basically will have similar performance because it has to meet dot5.1 performance characteristics…
Each bottle is sealed with a foil, so it will have a very long shelf life when un-opened. The small bottles are very easy to manage, and buying in bulk means they don’t end up too expensive…

Worked fine in the 330CI BMW and I expect this Dot 5.1 brake fluid will work fine in the Ford F450 Super Duty. I like the high temp rating and that, even though I purge the old brake fluid as much as possible, it is compatible with Dot 3 and Dot 4 brake fluids. Remember two items: Like Dot 3 & 4 it can absorb moisture over time and therefor should be replaced periodically. And, it is NOT compatible with Dot 5 brake fluid.

Great brake fluid as well as clutch fluid. I use this in my FJ Cruiser as well as nissan Z, for it’s higher temp. handling. You dont need a race car to use this, heavy autos like trucks can get very hot brake temperatures so to me it’s a safety factor to have fluids that can stand up to higher ranges of temperatures. My Z is fixed up with brembo’s and was using motul RBF, but since switched to this as i’m mainly on the street and not track. RBF is better for the track. This fluid is dot 5.1 and is compatible with dot 3 and 4 so it’s easy to upgrade as well as it will blend with your existing fluid. But just bleed your brakes till you see clean fluid all around and you should be fine. Same goes with the hydraulic clutches. Many forget that glycol based fluids absorb water and need to flushed, so this case is great, i can do both my cars at least a few times each.

Used this years ago for moderate to hard Sportbike street riding and trackdays as well as Pro dirtbike harescramble racing. Never any issue with boiling/brake pressure loss. Good product for a little better performance than regular DOT3/DOT4.
A Careful Consumer –
Great performance, worth going with DOT 5.1 over 4 plus.

Excellent value!, On-time shipping!

I use this in most everything, even in my roadrace R6. I don’t have the budget to flush some of the high dollar 600° fluids after every race weekend, and since the ‘dry’ boiling point drops to the ‘wet’ boiling point pretty quickly, I’m better off with this fluid fresh, rather than something like RBF600 that’s been in there for a few months.
