Worked great on my honda rancher 350. It went together easy, i used a little loctite on each bolt to keep them snug. I also cut off the little part of my factory rack the stuck upwards so I could slide this rack farther forward so it could set right behind my seat and not stick out so far on the back of my four wheeler. I attached it to my factory rack with heavy duty zip ties at about 12 points and it is extremely solid, there is absolutely no movement. I didnโt really like the bolts that came with it for attachment because they would stick upwards and hang in stuff. I matched this with the kolpin front basket to complete the look! It is also very well made and it is one piece so there is no assembly.

I bought this to put on the front of my Suzuki King Quad 750. It’s HUGE, but I like it. Pros: Easy to assemble if you have any mechanical acumen at all. Sturdy; not quite sturdy enough to sit a mid-size person on, but sturdy enough for 50+ pounds of gear. Easy to use straps or bungee cords with. Cons: Wheelies are much harder to do now. I bought two extra clamps to fasten it to my existing front rack, but I’d love a better way of attaching this rack. Got mine on sale and I’m very happy with it. I’m embracing the “old man” look of my King Quad because frankly, I’m turning into an old man!

I absolutely love this rack it is big and able to hold a big load with lots of tie down options. In fact I like it so much I ordered another one for the rear rack.It is just what I needed and it is very useful.I also used sip straps much cleaner and stronger. If you carry smaller things then the mesh I recommend buying a simple rubber door mat for a good bottom that will not scratch up the paint and can be removed or rolled upor washed easily when not in use. There is only one thing I recommend you paint it with rocker guard or bed liner then rust paint as I noticed the inside grates where they attach started rusting but that solved the problem.I hate rust and I think they should treat that area in the factory.

Great rack. Installed on 22 Kodiak 700 front. Well made and heavy built. Love the extra space and utility.

easy to put together. I used my own U Bolts cause the ones that came were a little short. Glad i got it

Looking forward to mounting this new rack on my ATV. Item was well packaged and arrived in good condition. Parts would not bolt together properly because they were OBVIOUSLY out of spec. When you compared one side to the other you could see that the holes were drilled through the tubing in the wrong places, and it was not something I could easily fix myself. Holes on BOTH sides were not drilled in the right places but one side was much more off than the other. Also: one of the bottom sections had a bar that was obviously twisted and not properly welded in place (it fit nice and tight at one end but had a big gap at the other) but instead of scrapping it or fixing it they went ahead and finished the part, boxed it up and shipped it. Zero quality control. Made in China. With all that said I still would like to have this rack for my machine so I am returning it and requesting an exchange (even though I have a bad feeling that I’m going to regret it.) Very disappointed……FOLLOWUP………11/07/13- Received my replacement rack. The quality control on this one was better, but still not great. At least this one bolted together properly. The welds are tiny and look fragile. The finish is good. The mounting hardware was useless for my 2012 Honda Rancher 420 because the U bolts are WAY too short. I was able to secure my rack with electrical ties, and it looks good and does not move. This rack is LARGE which is exactly what I wanted. I would rate this rack as 3 stars because of the small tack welds which I suspect will not last very long. (I found one already cracked right out of the box.) Good luck if you decide to buy one of these, it’s a gamble. Oh yeah, almost forgot; I have no idea why they call this rack “collapsible” it is nothing of the sort. Still scratching my head on that one.

This is not as strong as a welded front bracket, but itโs strong enough for purpose and doesnโt require any major brainwork to install. overall a good product will be looking to buy the rear bracket soon

Strongly built. Easy to assemble. Would like better connectors…some kind of strong flexible fasteners, like zip ties

Great ATV rack. Has held up well after a year of hauling heavy deer and hundreds of pounds of seed and fertilizer. Be prepared to buy your own mounting hardware because this is a universal fit for multiple styles of ATV.

I have three Honda Foreman ATV’s for use on two different properties. I cannot tell you how many times I have thought when using the Kolpin basket, “how did I get by before I got this rack?” This was my second purchase of a Kolpin. I put it on the ATV that I had been using an old milk crate for a front rack. The increased need to carry tools and equipment caused me to make the change. I would recommend to anyone carrying around a lot of small tools like pliers, wrenches, hammers and such to make a plywood bottom for the basket to keep things from falling through the gaps around the rear of the rack and in the middle where the frame piece is located. It has saved me many lost tools over time. The amount of cargo space gained from this basket is phenomenal. The lines of slots for bungee cords are elegant in that they allow precise positioning of cargo and then being able to anchor it with bungee cords. In my use it is often a chainsaw with the oil can and gas can. One of the places I use mine is on a large ranch with miles and miles of roads in not the best of condition so tie downs on the cargo is essential. I don’t get the collapsible part in the label because I have not found anything collapsible in the design but “Oh Well,” nothing is perfect. I recommend having help when mounting this unit as there are some awkward moments if you do it by yourself. An extra set of hands works great. For my needs a a rancher, hunter, wood gatherer, and handyman this is a must have item on my ATVs. Don’t balk at the price it is worth every penny and built to last.

Overall I think this is a great rack, especially for the price. I would think it’s perfect if not for a design issue that makes it a bit unwieldy for a lot of the Honda fourwheelers. The placement of the slot that accommodates the factory rack hoop causes it to extend a long way off the front on racks that have a hoop on the very front of the rack. The extra cargo capacity is handy, but looks kind of goofy and may cause problems navigating in tight areas in the woods.
