My initial thought was wow – surely for less than $40, you can get no real protection out of this thing, but why not it’s only $40 so i bought it.
For the price, i was pleasantly surprised. Once you have the thing on and tightened properly, it does feel surprisingly durable, and I truly believe it will offer as much protection as the next $150 armor set, or the Fox version that this is a clone of.
I’m a very lean/lanky 170lbs 6’1”. The XL fits slightly large in chest X axis, but slightly short in chest Y axis, and slightly short on the sleeves (sleeve have thumb hole to keep everything in place, that is what is slightly tighter than ideal – but has no problem stretching and works for me – i imagine after some wear it will stay stretched.
If you’re around 6ft or over, or just a larger human, you forsure what to go with the XL. It does appear to be sized true, and not Asian.
While there are plenty of decent quality adjustable elastic straps, some of the fitment of the plates feels slightly off specifically in the shoulders and elbows/arms. Easy fix with the straps, it does feel a little more restrictive/bunched up underneath once they’re in place – but i think that’s a result of being long and tall in a XL, vs being short but wide in the same size.
Adding to someone else’s comment i saw before buying – dude said something about the zipper being like it was from a “lady’s garment” and it made me LOl, but now that I see it in person that is the most accurate description anyone has ever given. It’s holding up for now but it’s forsure the weak point.
In conclusion, if you’re not tryna spend hundreds of dollars on what is literally a foam padded plastic shirt, but can’t pull the trigger on $40, I encourage you to go to your local motorsports dealer and price shop for armor. You could literally buy multiple of these for the price of one pair of brand name independent elbow pads, and if the quality of protection is the concern, well like I said you could buy multiple for less, so just buy 3 and ride around in all 3 at the same time – you will be so safe you’ll practically be a cager!
Finally – they’re on Prime, worst case if you really don’t like it, just refund it! PLUS then you also get to ride down & throw it at a random WholeFoods worker!!!

The essential parts of this Chinese knock off are what you might expect for a cheap imitation of a great FOX racing original. A 6’2″ I had to size up to XXL, and it still fits a little odd in the shoulders. However, for the price, it actually does a good job in protecting. Being on a tight budget I thought that I would try this out, and am not disappointed. I did dump my bike twice in sand and rocks, and come out with no discomfort or pain from impacts at all – so i guess it does its job. I just wish that it fit a little better. When I feel rich, I will probably replace it with a more name brand version for the better fitment and quality. But for the budget, hey, it works OK.

bought an XL.
I am 42D chest, 32-34 waist.
This thing fit PERFECTLY. There are so many adjustable straps to cater it to your body type.
The mesh is a bit concerning when you put it on, adjust it, then take it off. Its not flimsy like most say, its just mesh, the way mesh is supposed to feel.
Stitching and manufactured armor was perfect!
You feel so ‘safe in this thing’!
Order the knee braces armor to go with it. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! score!
Note: Ordered HWK, TAG, and super expensive leather pants. none of them fit. i mean none of them even tho the quality was amazing. I wasted hundreds when I could have just got ‘this’.
Will update when i take a tumble. Im sure it will happen at some point.

I’m 6′, 190lbs with a 44″ chest, well built and had to use the 2XL
It’s a little snug but it’s supposed to be form fitting.
I also wear long sleeve Hanes Men’s Long Sleeve Cool Dri T-Shirt UPF 50+ (Pack of 2) under it. So that may help me feel dry 100% of the time.
I’ve worn this armor on two rides, and both times completely forgot I was wearing it.
Once you get all the armor parts set where they should be, it fits like a glove and gives good protection for low speed impacts (nothing will save us from ultra high speeds).
I wear the haynes dry shirt, then the armor then another riding shirt over it all, and a backpack with tools and while it’s not full summer yet, it is warm outside, and I still feel good riding with this.
One thing that is weird is the zipper is on the wrong side, and I don’t know why, but womens cloths have zippers on the opposite side, so maybe this is for a woman? Doesn’t make sense b/c the only woman who could wear this wouldn’t be able to have boobs AND zip it up, as it barely fits me and no, I don’t have boobs, so it works out great. Aside from the zipper being on the wrong side, I feel it’s a cost effective bit of gear that is essential for riding trails.
If I would order it again, I would buy the same size but maybe the one with the neck protection too. Don’t go too big b/c the armor has to stay in place during crashes/sliding/rolling and this certainly does. It’s snug, and it should be somewhat tight and difficult to peel off and on.
It airs dry (afaik) washable too.
The back protector is exceptionally durable, and has interweaving ABS parts that double up, and flex. The shoulder and elbows stay in place all day, and the chest protector is the largest area I’ve seen.
Highly recommended as one crash will pay for itself 10x over.
