Sound quality was not what was expected from a Martin guitar. It sounds cheap.

I really like this guitar it’s well built and stays in tune well. I am in a wheelchair so I wanted something a little smaller since I can only play it sitting down and I am able to hold and play this in a comfortable position seated and this works well for me. The only real complaint I have is with the box being smaller and the neck being standard it makes it very neck heavy and can be a little awkward but other than that I’m very happy with it.

Great little guitar! Arrived on time and without any apparent damage. Iโm 5โ2โ woman and it fits my body pretty well. Iโm a beginner so Iโm still training my hands to stretch – only plus would be a narrower fret board for my tiny hands ;). Pretty bright and resonant sound for such a small instrument and definitely great for travel – see Ed Sheeran picks for tossing some clothes in the bag and throwing it on your back as you glove hop to gigs.

I like the guitar and it really sounds good. Well constructed and has a nice tone. However the action was too high from the box especially with the higher tension short strings. After I had a professional setup it plays great and is easy on the fingers. If you buy this plan on a nut and bridge setup. After that it is very playable. I have a full size Martin and it is a nice little replica. The sound is full and rings with a bright, full tone. The HPL seems durable and the spruce top gives it a genuine Martin look and tone. Great couch guitar and I have taken it camping in the soft case. If you want a small full body sound this is a nice addition.

This guitar is absolutely fantastic and one Iโll always have in my arsenal now I know how good it is! The sound and playability is wonderful and it absolutely deserves itโs brilliant reputation. It sounds so crisp and warm and is just beautiful. I lowered the action slightly and put some lighter gauge strings on it and for me now it feels totally perfect. Although the action and strings were actually fine on arrival and I suspect it would probably do out of the box for most people but I just prefer lower action and super light strings.

Very easy to play, loud and clear, feels sturdy. despite the laminate wood, the sound is pretty amazing from small guitar. I actually prefer the laminate because it feels so durable like I don’t have to be overly delicate with it. It’s cheaper than the Taylor mini and very well made. Plus better electronics- fishman v Taylor’s, and it’s not delicate while being easy to play. No brainier
