Leggero e pratico, bella pedaliera.

After a few years break from playing I decided to get a digital piano. I was a bit concerned with the quality of sound compared to my usual upright piano. I must say I was more than impressed with the sound of this piano and the very similar touch on the keys. It does not have many extra sounds or effects but for a pianist this is not important. The piano is small enough to sit perfectly where my old piano stood and it really looks great. Delivery from the Sound Store was second to none, being delivered three days before the date I was given. I have already had a few hours of playing the piano and look forward to many, many more. The fact I can play with the headphones on is a bonus, especially for my wife. Plus, as there are two headphone sockets I can play duets with my granddaughter when we get the chance. I would recommend this piano to anyone wishing to upgrade from a traditional piano.

I bought this because I wanted a small “cheap-ish” piano for my apartment that I could plug headphones into so I wouldn’t disturb my neighbors. This keyboard does the job pretty well; I like how it’s kind of small and minimalistic. The keys are a little different from a real piano but like… every keyboard and piano is different so you generally have to get used to it no matter what piano you buy. Sound quality is not the best out there however, it’s decent enough and I just mess around on the piano anyway so I don’t need great sound.

Es perfecto para aprender. Que tenga tapa también lo hace mas interesante

We had to get rid of our 100 year old upright piano after a house remodeling and replace it with something with a smaller footprint. I did a lot of research, read countless reviews, and in the end it was a toss-up between this model and a similarly priced Yamaha. Due to previous experience with Korg MIDI stuff I chose the Korg and couldn’t be happier.
The sound and feel is great although the touch is a bit heavier than the old upright. So far I have no complaints.
I would like to have given it a 4.5 star rating as there are two things that detract from it’s overall experience. The first being no readout indicating what “voice” is current and secondly the pedal assembly slides around on the floor if you get a bit “spirited” during play. I can fix the wandering pedal with some Velcro as soon as it gets placed in it’s permanent spot.
All-in-all this is a great reasonably priced piano.

I would put this as 5 stars for size, sound, quality, etc except for one thing. The key action… It still has a slight keyboard-ish feel, where the key “hugs” your fingers after being pressed rather than going down and springing back up. Growing up we had an old upright piano and I distinctly remember the key feel on that vs a keyboard.

Excellent instrument. A very good piano sound, the best you can get without having to spend more than a thousand dollars. The keys really feel and work like real piano keys. The stand construction is basic, but good and beautiful. I think this is the beat digital piano you can have at home without going to professional instrumenta that will cost much more. If you play at home, be you a student or a seasoned player, you should enjoy this piano.

Overall:
This keyboard works well as cheapish practice instrument for those saving up for their Steinway or living in an apt where moving acoustic instruments is impossible, however, it is lacking some features that would make it a better practice instrument–like a metronome and playback. It doesn’t work well as the occasional gig piano–it can be done–but it’s stressful.
CONS:
-no built-in metronome
Therefore, you can’t use a metronome if you’re wearing headphones.
-the detached pedal is annoying
It’s very light so unless you have you keyboard abutting a wall (bad for sound), it’s going to slide around while you’re playing
-not travel- or gig-friendly
You need a screw driver and a knife to install/break-down (not included). You have to stand the frame vertically to put in the screws–impossible in tight spaces–and wedge the keyboard back into the frame (scratches). When moving it, you have three boards (one very long) and the keyboard; you have to make several trips which is worrisome when you’re potentially leaving your expensive instrument unattended. There doesn’t seem to be a case available for this model. The longest board and keyboard did not fit in my sedan trunk (or backseat) without feeding it into the car through collapsed seats.
-the frame is made of some sort of coated particle board that scratches/nicks easily and shows fingerprints.
-the music stand has a big gap between it and the lid so your books fall through.
-you have to pan through all of the different piano voices instead of each having its own button. So if you have a job and are using “piano voice 2” and want to go back to “piano voice 1,” you’ll have to press through all organ and vibes to get back to the beginning. There’s no display screen so you have to press a key to know where you are in the list or memorize them.
-no recording playback feature.
-kind of nasally tone quality when played out loud but not with headphones–so gross speakers?
-speakers on on the front of the instrument so if you’re playing in to a crowd–they may be able to hear you but you can’t hear yourself.
-no bench included
PROS:
-pretty
RE: M I N I M A L I S T J A P A N E S E A E S T H E T I C
-lid is a nice feature assuming that you put your books away after your practice session
-gets pretty loud
-nicely weighted keys
-each key has ~5 different tones

Très bon piano pour une élève débutante
Beau et ne prenant pas trop de place

Very good quality for the money. I appreciate being able to have a full-sized keyboard, weighted keys, with good sound that fits into a small townhouse with limited space. Only negative factor for me is the “music stand” is same level as keys and not very ergonomically suitable.

Excellent sound, weighted keys have real piano feel. Sleek design, great for apartment living with volume control and headphone jacks. A great choice if you do not have room for a full size piano.

I did a lot of research and learned really fast that this was a great brand and I’m beyond pleased! This is great. Sound quality is good and I love being able to play with or without headphones. I highly recommend this for beginner or seasoned piano players.
