Don’t limit your music to 61 keys, 76 is the sweet spot. 76 keys makes this keyboard a futureproof device for your musical journey.

I like everything about this Yamaha KB. I am wonderfully happy about the receiving of this item. The only thing was the delivery, It took so long and no tracking information. But the seller was very patient with me as I was anxious to receive it. He was always kind in his correspondence. Thank you SELLER! Good Job.

This is the second keyboard that I purchased from Amazon. The first one I returned because it had a technical issue, so I decided to go with a trusted brand, Yamaha, and I am glad I did! Changing instrument sounds is easy to use. So far, I have not used any of the other functions, such as record, etc, but I am very satisfied with the product. Also, I did purchase headphones to practice without disturbing others and this function also works well.
The piano is sturdy and also lightweight, which makes it practical because I have taken it outside of my home to lead worship in a small group setting.

I really wanted to get back into playing, and I wanted a keyboard that came with a decent amount of sounds already built in. This keyboard certainly has that, and while I find a decent chunk of the sounds to be fairly cheesy – many are also great. The synth selection could be much better, but I am able to run my keyboard through other pedals and effects to further branch out. What impresses me most is how well the touch sensitive feature works. As well, the standard piano sound or “001” is one of the most realistic piano sounds I’ve heard on a keyboard. I find myself just constantly piddling around with it. I purchased a sustain pedal to go with it, and it feels and sounds similar to playing a real piano. Low notes have a ton of resonance and color. The high end is punchy and saturated. The 76-key range is more than enough to keep me satisfied. Much more impressed with this keyboard than I expected to be.

When I sought to buy a beginner piano, I wanted to get 88 keys and have them weighted keys. I knew Yamaha was a good brand, so I focused my search around that. While I’m happy with my purchase, there’s a couple things to note about this model:
The keys aren’t weighted. It feels like there’s almost no resistance when you play, which is OK unless you plan to play on real pianos in the future.
The keyboard itself weighs almost nothing- this 4ish foot keyboard weighs less than 5 pounds, which is fantastic for taking it places or doing gigs. I don’t remember seeing this in the advertisement when I bought it, but it’s super light.
It has a ton of features: it comes with like 600 preset sound modes so you can emulate all sorts of instruments or just make laser noises and car horns with your keyboard. It’s definitely fun to take a practice break to try to play some funeral dirges on a church organ.
Overall I’m very satisfied with this keyboard. Even though i wanted 88 keys, I’ll settle for 76 until I can justify getting an 88 key yamaha for almost 3 times the price.

I am impressed with the PSR-EW 310, and in the Yamaha line in general. The speaker sound on this unit is excellent, and the keyboard is very good though it is non weighted. For me, it is a great standalone keyboard that I can use for practice and rough composing, and the plug it into my computer for MIDI use. The 76 keys offer a greater range of choice, and it is nice to have even if I rarely take advantage of them. At the time of purchase the pricing was within $20 of the 61 key model so it was an easy choice to make. There is a huge variety of sounds but I won’t be using many of them. When it’s time to get serious, I will be looking to use plugins on my DAW for many instruments, since the “synth” quality of many instruments is not acceptable on most keyboards. This is not a high end model, but I like the options and features , and at this stage I prefer to not be plugged into the computer all the time. At some point I may get a strictly midi keyboard, but this serves my purposes well…….

The one I ordered never got delivered so I bought one from a local music store. It’s a really great keyboard, sounds really good, but you would need an amplifier to hear it in a large space. Having the 76 keys gives it a really good range to play on. I really like my keyboard and am glad I bought this one. It has a lot of features and a book to tell you how to use them. Mainly, I just use the keyboard with the piano voice so I haven’t tried out the other features yet. This is a great keyboard for beginners, I highly recommend it.
I checked with the USPS to find out what happened to my order and they had no idea, it wasn’t in the container that it was supposed to be in. If it ever shows up, I doubt that it will, I will send it back to Amazon.

Bought this to replace Alesis melody maker 61 key (which got lost or stolen – who loses a 4’ long keyboard?). I put it on the same stand that came with the Alesis (works fine, not perfect though).
Still has that ultra-light thin “cheap” plastic feel, but a definite upgrade – classier layout/buttons.
Touch-sensitive – this is definitely an upgrade, sounds a lot more like a real piano. The music stand is actually useable and a lot more robust. A much better tool for the job for not that much more money than the Alesis, though I wasn’t looking to replace it. Just tried violin – wow honestly this makes beautiful sounds. A pro would want more I guess, but I assume a person could go pretty far in the is baby. A grateful person may never even want more idk
Tempted to give 4 based on not really knowing much about competition, but seems like a solid piece

Just received this Yamaha keyboard at my doorstep today! After brief reading of manual, The first piece of music I played on it was Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. I must say that the Yamaha company has truly exercised their ingenious capabilities of producing a truly fine instrument set forth not only for beginners but also use for stage presentations along with the right audio stage capabilities. I truly recommend this fine instrument unto beginners and accomplished musicians for a wide variety of sounds and capabilities. Thank you, Yamaha and thank you, Amazon for quick and reliable service ! 😀…*clm
