This Lil keyboard changed my mind about Casio products. I play, buy and sell expensive keyboards all the time. I also favor arranger style keyboards. So I bought this as a play around “toy”. Boy was I wrong. Great sound, easy to navigate and the rhythms are just excellent. So when I’m in the studio and want to get inspired…..I grab this casio. For the low price I’m still in shock. Great job Casio!

The Casio CT-S400 is a nice quality keyboard with 600 instrument sounds and 30 drum kits, Rhythm Presets, built in classic songs to practice with and a basic 6 track midi recorder. The CT-S400 can also be used as a nice midi keyboard controller with computer DAW/Sequencing software. I give it 5 Stars for quality and price. Please watch the video for a demonstration of the built-in sounds and features. I included a video index because I cover a lot of features of the CT-S400. The instrument sounds demonstration is the first half of the video and the control panel features is in the second half, so use the index to find what you are looking for. The voices sound authentic, and there are simple enough options on the headboard to learn on the fly. I use it to give vocal lessons, so I don’t need a full 88 keys, and this unit is easily portable using a guitar strap. I love it in every way!!
