Michael Harvey –
Bought this target to be used to practice for the 2023 archery season. After 1 year of use I can say, with certainty, I am embarassed to have spent money on this target.
The design is poor. Every aspect. The body interlocks together in 3 poorly fitting pieces and is pinned in place with a few dowel rods. These have to be removed so the whole thing can be disassembled and the removable core insert can be replaced. The foam does not hold up well to repeat breakdowns (of which I’ve done 2) and has torn through on the foreward side of the “backstrap”.
The legs slide onto flimsy foam wedges molded in the body. The contact surface is minimal and the fit is less than snug. As a result, the legs pop out of place and fall off with a light breeze, shots, arrow removal, or if you look at it in an intimidating manor. The legs themselves are hollow plastic with the ragidity of a plastic grocery sack. The rod supports meant to hold the target upright are less than a foot in length and go 6 inches or less into the legs. This is fully insifficient to keep the target upright under its on weight and the legs simultaneously fold in half and pop out of their wedge connection. The design flaw cannot be overcome by buying longer pieces of rebar because the channel molded into the legs is a set (shallow) depth. You must duct tape them to the outside of the leg. A look truely capturing the realism of a whitetail in its natural habitat.
I’ll preface this next bit with the fact I shoot at this 3D target for the sole purpose of practicing on the animal and reducing target panic. Therefore, I shoot it 15-20 times a session. The bulk of my target practice is at block targets. With that in mind, the foam itself is crumbly and nondurable. I’m no master archer. At 30 yards my groups are 2-3 inches. First shot I got 10-12 inches of penetration.
After 100 shots my arrows had carved a channel though the vitals that allowed then to burry past the fletchings. To salvage I began taping and shooting at other areas of the foam core. This entirely defeats the purpose of “realism” a 3D target is intended for.
This embarassment made it, limping and gasping for air, to 500 shots at best.
I’m going to continue to fill it with spray foam and duct tape it back together to get it through another season. After that, I’m going to trash it and file the whole experience away into “financial mistakes”.

Shipping was super fast and packaging was well ok. It literally took 3 days to get delivered. The buck was in a box just like if you pulled it from the shelf at the store. That box has slight damage but it was inside of another box. I was actually worried about damage so I immediately pulled everything out and examined it and found only one super small problem that isnโt nothing major. One of the tines was slightly bent. Like I said nothing major and nothing that would affect the target so I still gave this 5 stars. What I really like about this 3D target is itโs size and the insert. Itโs a lot bigger than the rhinehart and more affordable. The insert can be replaced and it even has the organs on it. You have different side to the target which can be moved around for different shots. You have a quarter side that the idea is to practice your shot at a slight angle. You can move the target for a broadside shot and then another side you can use for when your in a tree stand. What this does is allows you to have a better shot execution. It puts you in a real life scenario like if you was actually out hunting. This makes for better practice for when your out in the field. The over all quality of this target is outstanding. The arrows donโt fly through the target and they are easy to pull. I have wanted a 3D target for a long time now and I have done a lot of searching before finally deciding on this. It seems this was really one of the few that didnโt have a bunch of bad reviews and after owning this I can see why. Itโs worth the price. If you bow hunt then this is the 3D target I would recommend. Itโs just so much better than just shooting at a dang block. It makes it so much more fun and it can even help get youth involved. I have several block targets and I just gave my 13 year old son my bow I used last year when I got my new one. Itโs like he didnโt really get excited to just go out and shoot the block. Itโs boring which I understand why. When I set this up he walked outside and seen me shooting and next thing I know after disappearing for a few minutes he came back out the door with his bow. Lol. Thatโs why I like to see.

I purchased this target and the separate stand. Target went together, legs were a bit hard to get into place. Problem was when I put the stand in the holes on the bottom of the legs the front leg pulled down and out and now I have a big gap and it doesn’t seem stable. I am going to call GlenDel tomorrow and see if they can help me. I’ve used this target in the past and liked it very much, also had the same stand. I’ll update this after I speak with GlenDel.
Edit::::I spoke with the guys at Glen Del. I didn’t realize that the bottom base was adjustable, you just have to turn the bottom base to enlarge it so it fits the holes in the bottom of the buck’s legs. ( I didn’t have to put together the previous deer and stand) No more gap. My arrows are easy to remove and with the bricks on the base makes it is very sturdy. Happy practicing ๐

It’s a great sturdy arrow stopping target. but when you go to remove the arrows HAVE FUN. i put the venom arrow lube on my arrows and still have to put the target on the ground and stand on it, using both hands to get the arrows out. and my hands slide 2/3 the arrow down the arrow before it finally moves. like i said very sturdy and the best at stopping arrows. too good at stopping um. hopefully once i get 400-500 arrows into it the foam will soften up a little or something.

I hadn’t had it long before it snapped in half! Such a weak target! The product is made from a decent material, it’s just too thin in places. More of a design fault. Wherever the target is thin, it will probably break.
I had to DUCT TAPE mine up, using Duct Tape and Glad Wrap to keep it together, then spray painted it as best I could. Looks like a mess but better than in half on the ground.
So no, I most certainly would NOT recommend this product.
Good luck finding a way to get in touch with the seller should you need to, as there is no way to. Rather convenient… ๐
And the legs tore off…

Great deer target

It looks kind of like a kangaroo with antlers but this is a very good target so far. I really like the idea of being able to turn the core after it gets shot out. The head rotates so you can get creative and set up realistic poses if you want.
D. liedel –
Easily removable center so you can change it when it wears out.
jonny gill –
Love this stops 60 pound bow arrows no problem
And itโs looks pretty good in the back garden

You do not need the bigger ones, this is plenty big. Great target. The supplied stakes work great so no extra supports required.

Sweet little target… haven’t used it yet but first impression is that money was we’ll spent!!
