Excellent little set for my sonโs 5th b-day next week. East assembly, great packaging- decent sound but will work on that. Solid construction and materials. Unveil this weekend.

Really great set and high quality (except for the cymbals themselves). This is not a toy, itโs an instrument. I love the tunable heads and the quality of the hardware. Evans Soundoff makes muting pads that fit all the heads so you can mute it and practice without torturing your household.
The only con is the cymbals; theyโre kind of cheap and donโt sound nice. But for this price point, thatโs what I would expect. The cymbal hardware is good, though. When you buy this set, buy a 14โ hi hat and a 16โ crash. Switch them out and youโll have the perfect little drum set. Also, Evans makes muting pads for those, too.

Me hubiera gustado que en las cajas hubiera alguna indicaciรณn de quรฉ piezas van dentro, que luego imvestigar cuรกl es la base de quรฉ tambor, para alguien que no conoce, estรก difรญcil estar adivinando quรฉ estรกs armando. Trae su instructivo, pero no hay un “Caja 1: trรญpode del platillo, Caja 2: tornillos del tambor, etc.”, sรณlo abres la caja y hay mรกs cajas dentro, sin dibujos ni descripciรณn.
El sonido es muy bueno, yo la armรฉ sin conocer de baterรญas, pero ya cuando llegรณ el experto, simplemente ajustรณ aquรญ y allรก y mejorรณ muchรญsimo el sonido.
Encantada con mi compra, mis niรฑos felices, y seguro les quedarรก baterรญa para rato.

There are NO instructions for set up with the set.
The box has a website. However, the site does NOT work!!!
Trying to look up a video. Got one for the full set. That got confusing real quick.
Found a 5 min video I think from manufacturer. However most steps were done quick and my phone screen was so small I had to watch many parts 5 times.
Took me THREE HOURS to assemble this (while in basement trying to not make noise).
Very frustrating.
My kid will probably love it though once you get over the assembly. But man you could include a booklet. I mean really.

My son absolutely loves his drum set. Thatโs all he really wanted for Christmas was a drum set. Both my husband and my father are drummers and were not interested in getting him a โtoy โset. This really is like a smaller version of an adult-sized set. My husband even enjoys playing them from time to time. Lol. Youโre not gonna get a big booming sound obviously because the drums themselves are small but itโs got a great feel according to my husband and my son loves playing it.

Didnโt come with any assembly instructions. But there are some useful videos online.

Pearl make very good quality drums. I am an adult and bought this Pearl Roadshow Junior set for myself to use in a small space. I made adjustments to the drum set as follows: a) replaced all the top side drum skins to upgrade for a professional sound . b) the throne was too small so bought an adult size model . c) replaced all cymbals and added 2 more cymbal floor stands. d) replaced the Hi- Hat stand with adult size. The fit and finish on the outside of drums is excellent quality with black lacquer finish only found on top drum models. I love the big sound from a small set especially with the improvements made with new upgraded drum skins and cymbals. I am very happy with the results. Again big sound from a small club size set at a great price! Of course it is a great starter set for young kids right out of the box however can be adjusted for use for adults with some modifications to the set up.

Good quality drum set. During assembling found one of the drum claws was bended and unusable. Had to buy a replacement claw from Amazon, otherwise repack and return. Received $20 credit for the trouble. Wish they had better QC.
