Messa in un tom e accoppiata con una risonante da rullante sottilissima, finalmente ho un tom “che suona” come si deve. Non avevo mai provato le Evans, soddisfattissimo. Grande dinamica, ottimo attacco, sonora e definita.

This is the first 200 snare side I ever used. I put it on a 12 x 6 steel snare. I had read somewhere that a thinner snare side would give you a slightly higher pitch and, obviously, add to snare sensitivity. Well, I cranked it as much as my fear of breaking it would allow. I didn’t land at a higher pitch but the snare sensitivity was definitely enhanced. If that’s what you’re after, then go for it. It’s definitely noticeable.

Evans are good heads, and the new 360 version is great for that little bit of extra room that vintage drums sometimes need.

I switched to Evans drum heads back in the 90’s and haven’t looked back since.
I always have a great experience with Evans; the heads sit flat on my bearing edges break in and tune easily and stay that way with only touch ups needed for different rooms. I’ve never had a warped head or a hoop pull out of an Evans head unlike other brands I’ve used. I’ve even put them on entry level kits and made them sound like much more expensive ones!

Best ones I’ve tried sound-wise!! I replaced coated EC2’s with these and I’ll stick with these. So much better sound.
