Marksman –
Cold be made for easier drum attaching but it is solid.
Rasta Jeff –
I use this for my collectors series snare drum. I love the stability, memory locks, and infinite adjustability. This is what the big boys use.
CWChilton –
Man this sucker is heavy! But I love all of the memory locks and the longer snare basket arm. I’m using this stand to hold a 9×13 rack tom over my bass drum and I can get the tom exactly where I want it and its solid as a rock there.
Nancy Dove –
Great stand but you can buy a quick handle and put it on the pdp stand. Same stand for half the price. Almost three bills for a snare stand is outrageous.
Old drummer –
As with all DW9000 hardware this is a great product. Very sturdily build, very adjustable, and the offset snare basket allows for more foot room or for double bass pedal if you have one. Like all DW9000 hardware this stand is heavy. If you’re looking for a functional, well-designed snare stand, this is the clear winner.
Brian –
Great quality as usually expected from dw. Shipping was also on time
G. Alan Reitsch –
I bought the stand based on reviews and research. I am not disappointed. On the contrary, I was configuring it at rehearsal set up yesterday, and it occurred to me that the engineering is quite evolved; the top piece, the three drum-holding arms, are on a boom which rotates freely within the quick-lock clutch/clamp mechanism which has a single lever, but the lever itself has a lock which when freed, allows one to reposition it, the lever, to keep it from interfering with your bottom snare head. Perhaps, that is not the best description, but in summary you have complete freedom of movement for positioning your snare. Next, the base allows the legs to splay out quite wide if you like a low snare height (I do). Lastly, the construction is sturdy, durable, top-of-the-line, and professional grade. All in all, the stand is heavy-duty and smart, and after 35 years of playing, I can honestly say it is far better than any other stand I’ve come across. I imagine you will love it, too.
Steven Curnow –
Best snare stand on the market, hands down!
Victor H. –
Perfecto
Jason Halstead –
This stand is super heavy, but it is really great. One knob adjustment for every angle of the basket, once you get it dialed in where you want there’s a drum key lock for added security. the memory locks are great too.
Customsound79 –
I’m not sure there is a better snare stand available without going to hydraulic lift. This really shines when using it as a tom stand to reach over the kick a little better and infinite adjustability. I’ve been putting off this purchase for a while but I’m glad I gave in.

Everything was as decribed and perfect.
