Michael –
Iโve used zildjian for over 30 years. I would prefer to buy cymbals after Iโve hit them in the music store. I had owned this same cymbal for many years so I knew buying another one on line would not be a disappointment if I couldnโt play it first. I was correct, when it arrived and I played it, it sounded awesome. Zildjian never disappoints . I highly recommend this and other zildjian cymbals. You too wonโt be disappointed.
Tony Lopez –
Great 19โ cymbal, with awesome mid tones that speak beautifully warm, has very good wash, good decay, somewhat of a bright bell, opens fair quickly, nicely controlled and offers good volume. As a pure crash cymbal, it does not have the stick definition that a crash/ride may offer but if you ride closer to the bell you can find a decent stick definition and articulation found in a crash/ride. It is lighter in weight than itโs 18โ crash/ride equivalent. I also purchased the same in 18โ and it too is a winner with slightly less subdued volume and wash. One of the things I noticed is that this cymbal does not exhibit upfront trashy tones, which I already have in my other cymbals, and, therefore, welcome this sweeter sound as an alternative shade of sound to own.

I bought this cymbal to replace an old one that cracked. I’ve been replacing my old cymfor zildjians and I really am very satisfied with their sound, their looks, well, I love them, this one specially cause is an A series, an upgrade in my drum kit. Personaqlly, now that I experienced this line of cymbals is difficult for me to choose other than A series.

OK, so what, I crack one once in a while, Been playing Zildjians 52 years now.

As a session drummer playing rock, metal, pop and the likes, this is one of the best crash cymbal. Zildjian A Series 19 inch Medium Thin Crash is a beautifully crafted cymbal. The sound from various youtube videos won’t do justice to the real sound you hit during a jam session or Live Concert. But just one thing, i got the last piece and it has two scratches: one a big line of scratch and one a deep cut. I don’t wanna return ’cause it’s the last piece. Or else it’s an overall beautiful cymbal.

Buena calidad, tal cual se indica en la descripciรณn. Serรญa ideal que incorporara al menos una funda de tela para guardarlo.

Zildjian A’s are back!! The re-designed A line is amazing. I bought this 17″ and a pair of 14″ New Beats and played them for the first time at a gig. I am in love….yes…in love. I used this as a Crash, Ride, Bell Patterns….It does it all nicely. I am in a Classic Rock/Blues band and this is perfect…. so versatile. I can’t wait to try it out in other situations. Put it this way…I am selling my Paiste 2002’s, and buying more A’s. Just got a 18″ Crash/Ride. You won’t be disappointed!!

Prima Becken
TEC –
Very disappointing in my setup. At 971 grams it plays and sounds more like a Fast Crash. It makes the sizzling “sh-h-h” crash sound and that’s about it. It does have the tone interval I want with my other cymbals though. In moderate to loud volume situations, it is almost like a big splash cymbal. My 18″ A Thin is 30% heavier and still has short sustain. Of course, my 19″ K Sweet is about 600 grams heavier. Thought this might help someone compare. Of course the post-pandemic greed pricing is a big drawback on all Zildjians.
Flavio –
Great cymbal to complement my Zildjian CityPack. Great sound with fast action. Also, a complementary Bell that I can even use as a second Ride Bell. Product comes new without any observable issue or broken part.
