Works as expected, and is a great product to have in your bike tool kit.

Well worth the money. Works great! Quality metal product. Not the cheep plastic ones you find at the big box stores. What I really liked about this product is that it’s small and lets you control the amount of CO2 that comes out.

Replacing a clunky, large, heavy plastic air inflator (with a thick, ribbed cylinder to protect from the cold, that used non threaded CO2 cartridges) .
This minimalist design appeals to me … and it’s much lighter, as I’m using the excuse of a ’new’ (used) carbon Trek to go through my stuff and reorganize my under seat bag. The threads seat the cartridge nicely, the control valve turns smoothly… the whole thing seems like quality.
Haven’t had a flat in a long time, knock on wood, so I haven’t dialed it in action yet.

I just received the inflator today and while I have not used it out on the road, I tested on my wheels at home to make sure it works and that I don’t encounter any surprises; it worked flawlessly. I’ve only used the Proflate Elite unit and can affirm that the BriskMore is a much better quality piece of equipment.
Below are my observations.
1. threads securely onto presta valve resulting in no loss of C02
2. very simple and easy to use
3. smooth valve control
4. no air loss when removing the tool
5. spare replacement seals for valves (nice touch)
6. includes sleeve to prevent damage to hands during use (nice touch)
7. takes up very little space in my seat bag (I use a small bag)
8. works with 20g cartridges (i.e. used with genuine innovations cartridges), even though specs says 12 and 16g only. Can’t speak for other C02 cartridges.
9. light weight – 22g
This is a nice inflator and I would recommend it to my fellow riders if ask. The inclusion of the spare seals and sleeve is a nice touch that most companies would not include and charge a premium to acquire. I am going to purchase a 2nd BriskMore to replace the Proflate Elite I have in my mountain bike seat bag.

Ordered this as I was fed up with the cheap decathlon canister pump not making a connection to the tyre valve and wasting gas and still got a flat tyre. Tried this out on a tyre at home and it creates a decent, secure connection to pump up a tyre to a decent pressure (don’t have a gauge to check but the tyre feels firm)

This device is well made, small, functional and light. It’s a great investment in so many ways. For years and years, I carried a frame-mounted pump. I thought I was the last rider on the planet with a manual pump, but as I look around, I see some of my friends still use them. Dump the little hand pump and buy this! First, your little hand pump will never help you achieve significant PSI. Second, your little hand pump takes up too much space. Third, this device is amusing! When this arrived, I was so excited to use it, I practiced filling tires on the family bikes. I would recommend you do that, too, so your first usage isn’t on the trail. When filling, take care to remember your chemistry teacher’s instruction about the relationships among P, T, V and n so you can avoid freezing your hand. All you can do is move your hand or wrap it because the temp of the metal in your hand is going to drop fast. This fitting combines with CO2 inflation cartridges to form a 2-part solution. Make sure you buy threaded CO2 cartridges. While flats on the trail are irritating, this little guy does its part to lessen the irritation.

Love this CO2 inflator. Purchased one a few years ago and decided buy a second one for my other bike. It’s lightweight, well built, and very user-friendly. It comes with extra o-rings stored inside the inflator, which is a nice feature. I highly recommend this inflator to anyone who rides a bicycle, gets a flat and wants to get back on the road with the quickness. Oh yes, it’s less expensive than other inflators I have owned too.

Nice to have one adapter that fits two types of valve stems . Small enough that it doesn’t take up too much room in a seat pack.

Used with 25g carts. Several times I used half a cart or less, tightened the valve closed, threw it back in my tool kit, and this inflator didn’t leak a bit. This unit kept open cartridges sealed for weeks at a time. Smooth to open and close, the valve in this inflator is high quality.
Screws easily onto my Presta valves, with smooth action, and no air leaked going on, nor coming off.
The insulator is crucial, rounding out a great experience during application, and it fit 20g carts without issue.
I keep slime tubes in the 700c 28 size tires of my shaft driven, IGH commuter. Recently on a late night ride home, in the final 3 mile stretch/climb, my front tire gave in, forcing me to the dirt shoulder. It was completely dead flat. Remaining straddled over the bike, I checked for thorns/etc., then lifted the front wheel and gave it good spin or three to distribute the slime. Next I grabbed this inflator from my bag, leaned over the bars, and easily screwed it onto the presta valve. I gently opened the inflator valve and my tire sprang back to life. Guesstimating 60 psi left a bit extra in the cartridge which is right where I like to be. Buckled my pack up, and I was back rolling in what was hardly over five minutes. Great feeling.
Finally, after a year and a half, and about 24 cartridges, I had beat the cartridge receptacle o ring beyond function. Back on AMZ, considering a new inflator I decided to check this listing again only to be reminded of the 3 spare o rings stored on the device! Back to new in two minutes. This compelled me to write this review.
This conservatively styled inflator has a thoughtful design, and has provided me with what I can only determine to be flawless functionality, and an optimal experience in field application. If only it was priced to provide maximum value.. Oh wait! IT IS! I’m very happy to have scored this great device.

Looks very well made. But the one I received didn’t function properly on its first use. The knurled knob that regulates the CO2 was stuck closed. I ended up having to use a pair of non marring water pump pliers to open the valve. It has been working ok since then. But sometimes the o-ring doesn’t seal on the presta stem. And the aforementioned knurled knob is very finicky. It behaves less like a valve, and more like an on/off switch.
I highly recommend bench testing before carrying it into the field.
