I am very satisfied with this purchase. The cost is on the higher end of the spectrum; however, it is money well spent. The insulated water bottle is well-made and keeps water cold significantly longer than its non-insulated counterparts. The stereotypical smell of a plastic water bottle is non-existent, which for me, is a game-changer. The bottle fits my standard sized carbon fiber holder, holding well in rough motion with the easy dismount. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an alternative to the warm water offered by non-insulated products. I never overspend; however, this is worth it.

This is clearly a well designed product and the best cycling bottle I have seen in 30 yrs. The bottle fits nicely into any cycling bottle holder (unlike regular insulated drink cups), has a hermetic valve to seal in the fluids, and when opened, has a rubber membrane to keep the liquid from splashing out, yet allowing a drink with simple suction. The insulation is not as pottent as that of a coffee metal cup (for obvious reasons), yet it is sufficient to keep the liquids at a cool temperature during the hot summet rides. I drop in cool aid with a couple of ice cubes, and the drink stays cool for 3 hours. The bottle is also faily lighy in weight.

I have purchased back Podium Chill Bottles for many years. They are better than all of the other cycling bottles in keeping your liquids cool. This works well and has an updated cap from the prior Podiums that I have previously purchased. Works well. I liked the look of these bottles which seem to have a clear Plastic layer over a Matt black bottle. I do think that the clear plastic is starting to look a little scratched/dulled from putting the bottle in and out of the cages. Nothing major, just an observation. I also think that these are a tiny bit narrower than the other Camelback Podium Chill bottles that I have purchased. They fit very nicely in my new gravel bike, with new bottle cages, that I recently purchased. However, they seem a bit small for the cages on my road bike and are somewhat loose and have actually fallen off on a rough road. So, I use these on my new gravel bike and use my other Camelback Podium Chill bottles on my road bike.

I ordered these to replace the old version. The prior version had a poor design in the cap. It was nearly impossible to clean the spout mechanism. I was constantly seeing what looked like black mold. Upon constant disassembled to clean, I eventually lost the seal and started to see water leak when I would squeeze the bottle. the new design is great. The cap is much easier to clean and the parts disassemble quickly. The bottle is a fraction shorter and narrower. So, here’s the only issue with the new bottle size…Because it appears to be more narrow, it is more prone to eject from a bike bottle holder if you hit a pothole. I lost a new bottle 3 days after getting it after I hit a deep hole and watched the water bottle slide off the road into a ditch never to be found again. Two days ago hit some rough road and another bottle ejected from the holder. That bottle now has some nice road rash. My bike holders are ion great shape and I never had an issue with the prior design bottle. So, there are trade offs. I really like the new design and will not go back, but be prepared to see the bottle fly off your bike if you hit hard spots in the road. Or just get really tight bottle cages to accommodate the new design. If camelbak just added an extra MM or 2 around, I’m sure the bottle would hold better in the cage.

Bon produit, capacite thermale limitée car tout en plastique (comparé aux gourdes metaliques).
Mon principal reproche est qu’il faut aspirer assez fort et le flux de liquide est assez limité.

Es el segundo bidón camelback que compro. Es un poco más pequeño de lo que me esperaba pero la calidad del producto es genial. Mantiene el agua frÃa un par de horas, la valvula y el cierre no tienen fugas, no agrega sabor a plástico…. En definitiva buen producto. Quizá un poco caro pero la calidad se paga claro.

I have way to many of these as they are my favorite cycling bottle. Can’t express how nice it is to have cool water still 40 miles in. I’ll buy more just that have all the colors of the rainbow. They don’t leak, are easy to use, and just look nice.
