I recently upgraded to a Sterling Ray35 5 string bass and it had Black Beauties on it. The sound on my bass was muffled and really muddy with these strings. I tried to EQ it to improve the sound, but it did not help. Changing the strings to Hi Beams Strings made a huge difference. Instantly the notes were crisp and bright, but still warm sounding. I’ve used Hi Beams on my 4 string bass and they also sound good for a long time.

fabuleuses cordes qui ont fait exprimer voire sur-exprimer mes bons micros de ma fender 5 cordes jazz bass, sur booster de par l’ efficacité et la précision du son, aigues, des mediums et des basses. Je revendique pleinement ce choix judicieux, ma basse est positivement dopée, les cordes d’ origines n’ avaient jamais pu me donner la quintessence de ma jazz-bass.
Pour le prix, un soit peu élevé, je redécouvre mon bel instrument, tel une jazz bass de luxe, voire mieux, le top des cordes, essayer les et découvrez, enfin une super basse, puissante, comme si par magie, vos micros avaient la qualité des bobinés mains des années 50 et 60…. Le résultat est bien là , le choix des cordes est trop judicieux pour sublimer , enfin, votre basse d’ enfer….

Ho messo 2 stelle non sulla base della qualità del prodotto, che non ho potuto testare, ma per l’imprecisione della misura della quinta corda. Appena l’ho vista ho subito avuto l’impressione che fosse più sottile del dovuto. La misurazione con il calibro digitale ha confermato la mia impressione: 125 anzichè i 130 dichiarati sulla confezione. Le altre corde del set invece hanno misure corrette. Farò il reso.
