First, I want to say that my expectations weren’t high going into this but I expected slightly better sound quality based on the review videos that I had watched. The amp is actually quite loud for it’s size. That being said, the sound was very poor at louder volumes. The gain was actually very weak. It might be useful for guitar players who use less distortion but for harder rock or metal, in my opinion it’s useless. I didn’t try it with pedals ( I wanted simple. Pedals defeated the purpose) but did try using an adapter to hook up my Nux MP2. That didn’t go so well. I also couldn’t get it to work with my wireless transmitter. This seems to have something to do with the way the amp powers on. There isn’t an on and off switch, but it simply turns on when the guitar cable is connected. I originally was going to give it 4 stars as I didn’t try using it to power a cabinet. Many of the review videos brag about how amazing it sounds when you do this, but then I thought about it and think that most people are not buying this for that purpose but for what it actually is, a tiny battery powered practice amp. I got it for $60 and even at that price point, couldn’t justify keeping it. I returned it and I’m waiting on delivery of the Donner Cyclops. Be wary of the video reviews, unless mine was defective and I don’t think it was, it didn’t sound anywhere near as good as the ones in the reviews.

Dei vari mini amp che ho provato, questo è l’unico che ha un vero distorto a bassi volumi sia in cuffia, che dallo speaker integrato consentendo di emulare i suoni provati con amplificatori più grandi senza disturbare (.. troppo perché volendo ha anche un buon volume). L’unica pecca data dalla logica di funzionamento che col Gain troppo New asco non emettere suoni e comunque sul “pulito” il volume è troppo basso. Ma se si aggiunge in pedale compressore/sustainer possiamo avere anche dei puliti paragonabili ad ampli molto più grandi. Se usato come mini testata perde un po’ di cattiveria ma io l’ho provato con grossa cassa da 100 watt Marshall (del mio maestro) e tranquillamente la pilotava, anche alimentato a batterie (8.3v effettivi) calcolando che può essere alimentato anche a 12v mi sembra un buon risultato . Se microfonato ha pure un bel suono da registrare.

This little amp is awesome, it can run on a 9v battery or a non-included wall adapter. Has a built in tuner, the grill cloth is the same as orange cabinets as is the orange tolex. When you crank the gain it sounds a little trebly/weird, but hey, it’s running on a 9 volt. The craziest thing about this little speaker is that is has a 8 ohm speaker out that can POWER MY ORANGE 2×12 AND SOUNDS GREAT!!! It’s a cool little portable amp that you can take to the beach, camping, wherever you want to go.

Love the 3w oranges I had an older model that I sold when I went on hiatus. This new model is far better in my opinion because of the shape knob and speaker jack on back so you can use this as a head. headphone jack and aux Jack plus tuner and no power switch. I like that you can use this with or without battery as well. This thing gets extremely loud and has great tone and lots of gain.

Very cute little unit. Sound was a little more muddled than I hoped for but livable. Big problem was that it stopped working within days when I plugged the guitar lead in. Changed batteries, tried different leads, tried the cord at different outlets and nothing. Had to end up returning after owning for mere days, disappointing purchase for me.

It’s a little pricy for the size, but I played around with it and it is such a great little practice amp! I play guitar in an apartment and I can easily move this around to different rooms and put it on top of a counter or table.
The sound gets fuzzy when you turn it all the way up to 100%, but I put it on 75% and my guitar at 100% and it sounds great.
The packaging it came in was absolutely horrible. The speaker mesh on the front was pushed in so I had to push it out by unscrewing the housing from the speaker cover. There was a crack on the outside as well. I definitely recommend the shippers using a box instead of a plastic envelope to ship this 70$ speaker.
I am happy with my purchase. Everything wrong with the speaker was cosmetic. It’s perfect for casual practice or if you want to bring it to the park and jam out. There is also a little headphone jack too so you can be quiet.
There is a 9v battery for extra versatility.

This is a nice little amp that runs off a 9 volt battery (which is included). You can also run this off a 9V AC wall adapter (but that is not included). I already have the wall adapter, so I can tell you it works well off of battery or wall power. You get a little bit more volume when you run off of wall power, but there is also a little bit more buzz/feedback. Overall, this is a nice little amp. The sound is good and it’s so tiny you can take it everywhere. Very handy.

Quality of it insane the clean tones are where this thing shines really at all volumes the built in gain is really nice to but only bout half volume it starts washing out but I was kinda expecting it to do that but the tone and cleans are clean hahaaa…. now if you got a little ppc108 cab or somethin you can crank that gain all the way up and let her scream lol… again somewhat hahaa
But being just a 9v battery blew my mind way way better then I expected. The built in tuner also awesome EADGB and F C does sharps but not flats
Far as batter life idk prob got a few hrs on it maybe still ok most have been at half or lower volumes but I Idk if that effects that or not. Hahaha love I just like how cool and small it is really and that it works. I need 3more at least hhahaa I mean you can sit these things anywhere
