This is a great stand! It’s a little bulkier than I like, but I’ll live with that because it’s sturdy and doesn’t seem easy to tip over–which is important if you have two guitars on it. Hopefully it is as built to last as it looks. I’d recommend trying it out.
Calvin Silcox –
Sturdy, holds both my bass guitars quite handily (a G&L SB-2 and a Fender Jazz) I keep it in the original box when transporting between gigs (which are MANY) and it still looks like new after over a year of steady use. Keeping it boxed makes a huge difference in wear and tear, rather than just chucking it in the back of your car.
David F. Graham –
These cost more than other brands, but they work very well, & quite stable. For expensive guitars that you don’t want to risk dropping, Hercules Stands are worth the cost. I recommend them,

There is nothing a frustrating than getting those cheap portable guitar stands. They flop this way and that and you’re never quite sure if your guitar is safe. . .It’s Not! I got my first Hercules guitar stand as a gift and was wowed by how well it worked. Then I got one for my tenor sax and was amazed that my horn was 100% safe. Now I got this unit for a couple of very good acoustic guitars and it works like a dream. I’ma gonna get more!
Gregory J. Nus –
Extremely well constructed. Item is huge and definitely made for road gigging

My husband, who’s soon to turn 75 years old, STILL keeps the rest of us on our toes, as he learns song after song after… Last year, our big gift to ourselves came in the form of a Bose tower. No more lugging 40-pound speakers or fighting with heavy and cumbersome tripods. This year, along with some other appropriate items, I bought him this new Hercules guitar stand. He’d seen it used by a band-mate and noted it only took one hand to operate. After 60 years of playing, he certainly deserves a well-made one-handed guitar stand!
Also… I contacted the company GearHeads to tell them of a problem that didn’t exist… Jon immediately replied and asked for more info. So I informed him I’d made a mistake. He replied again.
THAT — bothering to reply to “there’s no issue” — was the kicker. Addressing issues is the right thing to do. But taking the time to reply to “there’s NO issue” is going a step beyond. Gotta love simple human decency coupled with a GREAT product! They have a new fan in me.

Holds both of my G&L L2500 bass guitars with ease. Sets and folds up nicely. I also purchased the carry bag to make life a little easier. Great stand!
