I’ve been using clip on tuners, or the tuner that came with my old solid state amp and my guitar never sounded in tune after I’d zeroed the strings. With this tuner, the guitar sounds perfect. I was even able to tweak the intonation to get even better tone. Just for grins I used the Fender Fuse turner on my old amp’s app and got the same old slightly out of tune sound on my guitar. This tuner is what I needed.

    Pros:
The cents adjustment is easy to use.
The reaction time is decent for higher notes.

    Cons:
For Bass, the pedal is really slow to react compared to similar priced entry level tuning pedals. It’s almost unusable in drop D as it gets confused and bounces all over the place.
No option to use a 9V battery.

I needed to add a tuner to a pedalboard I put together, particularly because the group I’m playing with decided they really wanted to re-tune at A=432 Hz instead of A=440 Hz. I added it to the secondary port on my Boss volume pedal, and it works really well. The only issue I have with this tuner is that the rubber foot doesn’t accept adhesives well, so the Velcro for my board tends to slip off the base.

It is a tuner. It tunes the thing. I can change the frequency and it is bright on stage. Small housing. Small price.

    It works.

While not as expensive as other pedal tuners tthis one works just fine for me. Well built and works every time I use it. I was using a clip on tuner to try to intonate my Precison Bass and it did not work out well. You will never get intonation at 100% but this tuner got me as close as I needed it to be. Glad that I got it.

Great product, put it first on the line of some electric guitar pedals on a large board. No noise, full bypass, easy to read and use. Hard to beat for the price, works great.

I really like the physical design of this tuner. It is small, has a good layout, the pedal switch has a positive feel, and the display is large and bright, so even my tired eyes can see it while standing. However, I find two issues with it, and one is a show-stopper.

First, the tuning accuracy is close, but not as precise as my D’Addario headstock tuner. It has enough sloppiness that I can hear a change in tone without the tuner moving off the mark. Granted, it is at the limit of being able to discern the change, but the D’Addario nails it and exactly matches a BOSS tuner that I sometimes use on stage.

Second, and this is the show stopper, when the guitar is pulled out of the live feed to tune, it sometimes causes a loud pop. I primarily wanted a way to pull my guitar out of the live feed to tune, so this is not going to work for that. The popping is completely unacceptable for a performance and is the reason I am returning the tuner.

Nobody else has complained about this in any other reviews I’ve read, so I’m not sure what’s going on, which is why I gave it three stars (else It would have been one star).
