We have 2 softball players and a baseball player ! They use it for practice and enjoy pitching with it as it helps them aim for the strike zone.

Headline says it all, but I will offer some bright spots. The ball does indeed bounce back and it is fun to bounce the ball off this thing because it trampolines back quickly, but with the weight of an actual baseball the frame is prone to disconnecting. One way to prevent that is to do what I saw a YT channel suggest, and use small zip ties through the metal spring clips.

The weight of this feels VERY flimsy, and I get the impression that you can get something like this for 10 bucks or so off one of the overseas Ali sites. I will be returning mine since it arrived damaged. I’m guessing I received a returned item that was not inspected.

Overall, disappointed for the price paid. Going to use a wall to bounce a ball off instead. It won’t be as dynamic, but with a rubber ball the bounce back will be quick. Sadly, can’t throw and receive a throw back off a wall using a real baseball, but this thing is so flimsy that it barely works for that. Will rely on dad for catch instead.

It takes at least 30 minutes to assemble. A
couple easy pitches and the pieces come apart. The small clips that holds the pieces together are not strong enough to take a fast pitch from a child. Wrapping the pieces at the connections with strong duct tape holds them though. Also, the stakes don’t hold the thing down at all but a couple sandbags will. It works well after that. As it wasn’t very expensive, I’d say it’s worth it and should last 1 baseball season. Next year I’ll probably get a higher quality one.

I would have liked a little more of an angle on this. My beginner daughter throughly at it has to throw it real low so that it pops back up. If throwing hard at it it comes back straight, but a beginner arm could do with a bit more lift on the return to make them easier to catch.

I like the way the ball rebounds when you pitch or throw a ball into it. My daughter will be able to practice softball pitching without me catching for her every time. Less hits in the shin and face for me.
Assembly was easy. But, when I first started throwing balls into it, the frame would fall apart. The clips that hold the bars for the frame together are light metal clips that come loose when you throw a ball into the net. So, first I thought of duct tape. But, then I thought of the zip ties that held the bars together in the packaging. You can take zip ties and run them through the clips on the frame and hold the frame together. Ended up being a quick and easy solution. See the picture I attached to this review. Without using these zip ties, I would have given up on this net because it fell apart almost every time I threw a ball at it. With the zip ties in place, I haven’t had a problem since. Hopefully the clips hold up over time, I have only used it for about 15 minutes. If not, I can go back to the duct tape idea again.

My son told me my grandson loves it. He throws the ball and catches it great. Great for learning to pitch. Throw and catch 💖

Lo compré de regalo para mi sobrino y fue lo mejor. Dejó de despertar a sus papás para jugar y lo usaba el solito, aparte de fácil de armar.

Most nets cost around $40 or $50. I saw this and thought, “hey, a good deal”. Well, it wasn’t.

The problems start as soon as you open the box. The directions weren’t easy to follow. Then we went to put it in (you can’t use it on cement). We tried to put the stakes in the ground and it took quite a while, several different spots of grass, and a malet to finally get them to go in. I throw a ball – very lightly – at it and it tipped over. We put a few large cemement blocks and placed them on the two base tubes.

If you throw it too high, it starts to collapse again and the ball comes back slowly. When you throw it too low, the ball bounces twenty feet behind you and way to high for you to catch. When you throw it in the middle, you get a line drive, but you it’s not fast. So, I tried moving back farther, and I threw the ball literally no faster than 40 miles per hour and it collapsed. That’s why it can’t be used for pitching. If it’s used for hitting balls into, the balls go all over the place instead of just falling. Well, I put it together again and threw another ball. This ball was even slower but it hit the side, and that side collapsed. I put it together, AGAIN, and threw the ball. Now, this ball was thrown around 30 MPH, and I’ve only been using the product for a minute or two. And the net literally rips. I threw a ball – only 30 MPH – and it rips!

You may be trying to save money by using this product. But don’t! Either buy the more expensive product, don’t buy one at all, or make your own — you can probably do a better job with your own hands and a $10 budget. The product wasn’t worth the money at all. Five minutes of fixing the net until it broke was not what I expected.

La fijación al suelo no lo sujeta bien, al lanzar la pelota contra la red se mueve con facilidad y en ocasiones se cae. He tenido que fijar a un árbol para que no se mueva.
