All items still working perfectly at a weekly Open Mic Night in a coffee shop, for nearly 4 years now!
Update 2.5 years later: The mics are still fantastic, they’re used every Thursday, by 20 or so people each week.
The stands have lasted fairly well, but the hinge of one of the stands is starting to lose its strength, and lowers after about 20 minutes, so its often used for low-level instruments or optional areal pickup

My husband does a great deal of performing and I am one of the back up singers in our band. We purchased this package deal and are very please with the quality of the microphones. They really do enhance our voices and there is a noticeable difference from when we use other equipment. (just to note: my husband does not use this mic. We just us it for the backup singers. He uses a different mic better suited to his voice and better quality since he is the lead singer)
For the price we paid, we would have gladly paid just for microphones. But I gave four stars because this is a package deal and we have found the stands to be sub-par. They don’t hold the microphones up and no matter how we try to tighten them, the microphones and the clip that holds them slide down underneath the stand.
So if you want a great mic, get these! (but don’t buy this deal for the stands….they are pretty much junk.)

We used these mics two weeks ago 4 straight days with 3 other “higher end” models and you could not tell the difference at all. Very nice sound and very good price.

The high quality Sennheiser e835 mics are the star of this package. You’d pay around $300 for the mics alone in your local music store, less if you go bargain hunting. The mic stands are flimsy – might be useful as spares but don’t count on them for heavy use. The cables seem cheaply made compared to other brands like Whirlwind but they work… Too soon to tell if they’ll last, it’s only been a week.
Update: Sure enough the cables all failed within 3 weeks. Stands lasted a couple of months.
Get this package if you want 3 quality mics and some subpar stands and cords. If you just want the mics you can probably find a mic-only package a few dollars cheaper, bearing in mind you’re going to going to spend more than a few dollars for decent stands and cords.

For the price you can’t beat this combo. These Sennheiser mics are GREAT! Better than an SM58 and almost equal to the EV767. The stands are not all that bad. They are kind of light weight HOWEVER – I have seen others that are much more “flimsy” than these and if you don’t throw these around too much they will last OK. Mic cables are on the “light duty” side too but OK. Again if you roll them up carefully and are careful with them, they will last just fine.

The XLR cables in this package are too cheap. I’ve had 2 replaced in the 1st 2 weeks of being used. The company replaced them at no cost to me. However, 2 more cables stopped working in the 3rd week. It means nothing to me if the crap cables are replaced with crap cables. I’m going to have to re-buy all the XLR cables that came with this package. Boo.

Great value for the package. Someone posted that the mic clips do not fit. That is not true. All you have to do is remove the gold insert on the mic clip and they fit any standard 5/8 stand. Also, my package actually included the adapters for each mic clip for each stand. There is included a nice travel case as well. Great deal!
