Excelente, cumple con su propósito

PFDs are not famous for their luxurious and comfortable fit, so having owned some in the past and used ‘loaners’, this one lived up / down to expectations. I’m a decent swimmer, so I bought this for compliance to water safety regulations (albeit its intended use on gentle float streams or lakes). One of the problems is rubbing on the edges of the arm holes while paddling a canoe or kayak. The other problem comes up when trying to climb out of the boat/kayak using a ladder. Just when you’re most likely to fall into the water, the chafing and restraint of motion characteristics of the vest are the worst. I don’t know how to fix this problem, but maybe someone will invent a more ergonomic vest. In short, it works as expected and the price is fine.

I hope to never need it but I’m glad I got it. Good fit. Adjustable. Value priced.

I don’t actually wear this life jacket, but tried it on once. I only acquired this life jacket so I wouldn’t break the law while paddle boarding. Light weight, can be squished and still hold shape. Great, cheap way to avoid ticket.

A bit too big for size 4P women, but this is a universal size, so it should work for most sizes of people

Ok, so to add a bit more thrill to my family’s RVing experiences, I decided to buy a couple of inflatable kayaks (Intex Explorer K2–@ Academy.com $99.99 BTW) and as always I thought — safety first. I wanted a life jacket that:
1. is very visible on the water (I got the yellow and black one),
2. performs as intended, i.e.:will keep me afloat/save my life,
3. fits well,
4. looks cute
5. matches my kayaks
with the latter of the two being the most important (gotta look cute falling off the kayak right.)
Well this jacket ticked all my boxes. The 4 buckles (not 3 like the others) are very sturdy. I had to really apply some finger strength to get them apart. I feel soooo much more safer when I snap together that 4th buckle. Just kidding-I’m sure the 3 buckles are very safe too. The sides are open which allows for wider adjustability if needed. The side openings also allow for comfortable rowing and swimming motions so my arms won’t get chafed from rubbing against the jacket.
It is a US Coast Guard Type III approved jacket, whatever that means. It says weight is >90 lbs, chest 30″-52″, strength tested up to 50MPH but does not protect against water impact with an intended use as a Ski Vest. So skiers, if I understand that correctly, you may suffer internal bleeding from impact but the vest will still look cute on you up to 50MPH –good luck– too extreme for me. And for you germaphobes— you cannot dry clean or machine wash this thing, so Lysol/Clorox wipes will have to do. Did I mention it looks really cute on me? I mean, as cute as a life jacket could look on somebody. I am approx. 135 lbs, chest about 36″ not a very busty woman at all ,waist 29″ and I only had to make minor adjustments out of the box. Tried it on with my swimsuit bottom and my hubby said I looked awesome –but he’s bias and I was showing a lot of skin so you be the judge of that comment.
Side delivery note: had my first experience with Amazon’s Sunday delivery and absolutely loved it. I am an online shopping junkie and the quicker I can get my fix the better– love it– ordered this jacket Friday night around 9:00pm. Was told by Amazon it would arrive on Sunday. Thought Amazon had made a mistake b/c nobody delivers on Sunday but when the order status updated to Out For Delivery on Sunday by the USPS I said WIBD. I got it Sunday before noon. Very happy with this purchase – from product to delivery.

This s one great vest for swimming or boating.
I just was at a lake for a few days and gave the vest some thorough use, once properly fitted t doesn’t have much ride up annd can be used for a good length of time in the water.
It gave m piece of mind when swimming into water deeper than 5′ in depth out to some floating rafts to relax on
PS, for adddded safety/security i added some MTI crotch straps which really help keep this vest in place once adjusted tightly yet comfortably, makes me wonder why they aren’t a standard feature on adult vests.

These are OK, nothing special here. The price is good enough to make them worth getting and I would buy more if I needed them, but I don’t expect these to be the most long lasting lifevests I’ve seen. The universal fit works to keep you alive, but not to be fashionable. We purchased 2 of these, one for me and one for the wife. She is 5’2″ 115lbs and this vest “fits” but is definitely a little large. I am 6’1″ and 205lbs (muscular build if you don’t mind) and this fits me with my belly button showing out the bottom. I’ll float for sure, but my tan lines are going to be hilarious!

Entrega impecable.

It fits a little tight on me 160lbs(not sure what it’s supposed to be rated at), but I wouldn’t hesitate ordering another one. A friend at around 140 the life jacket fits great! I’ve used it about 6-8 times and it has held up great so far. We use them for kayaking as a just in case on the kayak.

Lo compre en una oferta y sin duda resulta bastante útil para una personal adulta de 75 kg que no sabe nadar muy bien. Su precio siempre por debajo de 500 pesos sera lo ideal para comprarlo.
