A-1 Customer –
Delivery went well, the unit is packed tight, so take photos during unpacking in case a return is necessary. Issue #1; The assembly video needs work; when showing the left foot pad assembly they show the left foot pad being mounted on the pad frame in reverse as it should be. If you mount the curved side inward it may rub on the unit’s side. When assembly is complete and mounted to the peddle cranks both left and right side pad should have flat side facing in and the curved sides facing out.
Issue #2; The plug between the lower unit and the display mast went together hard, didn’t see any damage or deformed areas on the plug but something wasn’t right with the plug, had to use electrical tape to keep it together. This didn’t effect the performance of the display but may need to be reattached if the plug separates after usage.
Assembly went fairly well as far as all the fasteners, tools and parts were in the box and marked well. The box is heavy and bulky as well as the main part of this unit is fairly heavy so help will be needed to move it to the destination location. During assembly a little extra help doesn’t hurt as well. Didn’t have a good chance to start using it, I will update later if needed.

 The assembly went smoothly. My husband commented that the assembly instructions were some of the most complete and easy to follow that he’s seen. All parts were marked as either left or right, so not sure how people were confusing them. The seat is very comfortable and setting up different programs is easy. However, I used the elliptical for two weeks and the meter screen stopped showing my speed and distance. Sunny customer service was prompt is answering my email. They requested a video of the problem, along with a copy of my receipt and the serial number. They believed the problem was a sensor wire and have sent the wire, a tool to fix it and an instruction video for replacing the wire. A few days later, before replacing the wire, the screen started going completely blank. They are now sending a new meter screen too. Hopefully, this resolves the problem.
Update: the parts came within 5 days. Changing the meter solved the problems.
THE RUBENS –
I was able to completely assemble this product alone (77 year old female!). Just follow the steps with patience. All parts and tools were labeled well. There were a couple of steps that would have been helpful to have closeup diagrams for details as I had to reinstall something that I had put on backwards. I did find a video online that helped by seeing details to install covers on the swing bars which had me stumped.
Just completed it so now I will see how well it holds up. It seems comfortable so far.
It is easy to maneuver to move it from room to room but that did take a strong man to lift it high enough to navigate tight corners.

It is not too small and not too big; the arms movements allow for an upper body workout as well as the legs; the incumbent style is more comfortable than an upright bike; the resistance know is easy to increase or decrease the effort needed; seat is adjustable for myself, 5’4″ or husband, 6’2″

I used a much more upscale machine during my cardiac rehab and wanted one like it at home that didn’t cost $12,000 so I could split exercise time between it and our treadmill. I wanted to spend less than $1,000 and after reading reviews and looking locally selected this one. After nearly five weeks, using it 4-5 times a week I am very pleased with it. It went together fairly easily. The assembly instructions were overall very good. The hardware package was exceptional as each assembly step was packaged and labeled separately on a large card. Three small boxes held other larger components that were also labeled. Right and Left handed parts were labeled. The only things I would note on assembly is that the diagrams in the directions are small and I had to blow them up with my phone. I found the bolts and washers that hold the stem to the frame that the monitor sets on loose in the bottom of the shipping container for some reason. Someone should have reminded me that just like a bicycle, the pedals have one bolt that is reverse threaded (the left). I wasted some time trying to thread it on the wrong way. Besides that the only really tricky part was attaching the cable that adjusts the tension settings. This is the only place where the instructions could have been clearer. They include tools to assemble and I mostly used them, though I did use a crescent wrench and a channel locks pliers. If you don’t have these the included tools work well enough.
Beyond these things the monitor is battery powered. As soon as you begin pedaling it comes to life. I’m waiting to see how long the AA batteries that are included last.
I am very pleased so far and I am using it regularly. It has relieved the monotony of time spent only on the treadmill. The advantage of this over a recumbent bike is that the load can be shared by both arms and legs. AT times I rest my legs and let the arms do all the work. It seems well constructed and fit together without any real issues. So far, so good. I like it a lot.

I had some issues with two few bolts. Sunny customer service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. They quickly processed a request to provide the replacement bolts still under warranty. I really like the bike it’s a comfortable bike and feels solid. I have physical therapy exercising I need to do and use it almost everyday. It’s a very good product with a reasonable cost!!

I love it and my husband loves it! I have a bad back and he has bad knees. This piece of equipment gives us a thorough workout without stressing and hurting our backs or knees. It’s very comfortable and joint friendly. I love the assembly video. I’m not sure we could have assembled it without a lot of time and trouble if we had to go by the written instructions alone. The video was a life saver and helped us assemble it fairly quick and without much trouble. I’m so glad we bought this!
