These are a great set of adjustable dumbbells for a good price. I purchased these when they were on sale for $45 but would be willing to pay the full price now of $55.
Some background for my comparison, one of my friends purchased some adjustable dumbbells from Walmart for $60 dollars and they were significantly worse than these. The threading on these is significantly cleaner and the stop has a small rubber o ring to fit tightly against the plates. These plates are also metal which was not the case for the Walmart ones. The grip texture is aggressive enough without being too much for extended use. The case is ok, and I don’t expect it to stand up to much abuse but works well for storage.

-Long threaded mount for expansion of weights
-Has a storage case
-Cost
Cons:
-Case is kind of flimsy
Overall: I would recommend these if you are looking for cheaper barbells that have a good finish with the ability to expand your options if you have already have weights or if you are looking to get started with your own dumbbell set.

It’s basic, it’s a chunk of metal in a wheel shape with two handles. Although it’s not the highest quality ever, you get what you pay for and more. Unless you’re a snob these will do the job and are a great entry or even addition to your weights if you so choose. The only issue I’ve had is the rubber falling out of the stoppers but even then they’re not necessary. It’s weight, it holds the weight, and you use the weights. They work.

For the money, these can’t be beat. In this price category you might expect the vinyl coated cheap weights, but these are nice cast iron, and the bars are nicely machined with good grip and finish.

Brilliant set of Dumb bells 🙂 if they can be called that! Noiseless due to heavy duty rubber washers on both the handles as well as the tightening spinners. High quality chrome and excellent knurling on the handles. Threading is very deep and precision done. Zero slip when spinners are tightened. The weights have a non-slip baked enamel type sturdy coating which is much better than just chrome. Carry case is sturdy too. Price under 4K is a steal.

I bought these after getting so fed up with my Sport Blocks that I wanted to throw them across the room. After using them for a few weeks, I’m happy with their function, and I’m only disappointed by the lack of extra plates to extend their weight range.
The whole set is metal– not plastic or coated or weirdly fake-feeling. So you feel like you’re actually lifting metal (which you are). The shiny finish on the plates might wear off some, but I don’t mind.
Adding and removing plates with the screw-nut is smooth and easy and doesn’t take too much time during my workout. The nut threads easily and is easy to spin on with your finger. The little rubber gaskets will probably wear out and fall off, but since everything is metal, the gaskets are nice, but not necessary.
As others have noted, the grips are a little rough on the hands. I wear lifting gloves, but fingertips (and feet if you’re using them for leg stuff) feel the sharp edges. I hope that will eventually wear down.
The max weight you can get from the set is 17.5 per dumbell if you’re using both, or 32.5 on one. I’d like to find additional 5lb plates so that I could theoretically get up to 42.5 on each. Not that I need that much now, but I have found myself wanting more than 17.5 when using both, and I would imagine that any 5lb plate with that diameter could work.
Lastly, the case. Don’t get these for the case. I’m sure it would work fine if I wanted to put everything away to store it, but it’s much easier to keep them assembled and set them on the floor.

Perfect set of dumbbells for a senior. Easy to change weight. The case literally looked like it had been run over by the delivery truck, several times. Probably want to wear gloves as these are rather thin and quite course on your hands.
