I went the route of puréeing my own food for baby and wanted something to easily store individual servings in for our babysitters. These have been perfect! I love that you can write on each lid so you know what it is. Writing comes off easy with a sponge. I typically hand wash the lid and put the glass jar on the top rack of my dishwasher.
My husband accidentally dropped one on our kitchen floor. Unfortunately, the plastic lid broke but the glass container still held up!! So I would say these are pretty durable.

The 8 oz jars are a perfect size to store food for your growing toddler. Measuring lines are easy to read and all are dishwasher safe on top rack. Jars can be stored in the freezer and also microwavable. Glass is a good weight and not think and flimsy like others. When I received my package from Amazon one of my jars were broken and I contacted WeeSprout. They immediately responded and replaced my broken jar immediately. Save me the hassle of returning the entire box to Amazon just for 1. Thank you WeeSprout.

I love these little jars! I bought them a while ago but have just recently started to use them since my son has started eating some purees.
To start, theyre really cute. I never thought I would get compliments for baby food jars, but these jars have gotten lots of compliments. The color scheme is adorable.
Theyre also incredibly sturdy. Ive dropped 2 jars and neither of them has done so much as chip. One was dropped on the counter while getting washed and the other fell out of the freezer onto the hardwood floor. No cracks or breaks to speak of!
They freeze very nicely. I do leave extra space in them when freezing so there is room for the food to expand as it freezes. Thawing food has not been an issue either. When I take the food from the freezer, I either sit it in the fridge for the day to thaw out slowly, or just rub it between my hands enough that it takes some of the chill off before putting it in the microwave/hot water. So far, no cracks have shown up from thawing the food.
The portion size is great! Right now my little one is only eating about an ounce at a time while he gets used to his new foods. The measurements seem to be accurate and theyre very clearly marked on the jars. I have no concern about the markings wearing off either.
These wash up really easily. I have even let food dry in them before washing on some occasions and nothing has stuck to the jar. I do hand wash them because I don’t have a dishwasher, but they wash up so easily that its not any issue for me to hand wash. I have not had any trouble getting the marker off the lids as some other reviewers have reported. There is no residue or sign of the marker being on there at all once washed.
My one and only complaint is that one of the jars seems to be either threaded weird or just a hair smaller than all the others because none of the lids fit it properly so I can’t get a good, tight seal on it. I just don’t freeze that one though and it all works out. When I make food, I usually keep one or two containers out to feed immediately or later in the day, so i always just make sure to use that jar for an immediate feed instead of freezing it.
All in all, these are super great little jars. Im sure once we move past the puree stage, I will be using these for lots of other things, like to go snacks for the diaper bag etc. Theyre a bit of an investment but totally worth the price.

I am getting ready to make my baby purées and these jars are convenient! They can be washed in the dishwasher and have ounce measurements on the jar! These have so many uses and are durable. Only con is that they aren’t stackable.

The jars themselves are cute and good quality; however, the lids leak liquids if you have to shake them up. I used these for storing freshly pumped breastmilk and when I would shake them to mix the fat cap in, the lids would leak. The jar is also difficult to pour into smaller containers, like bottles, without making a mess.
Edit: The customer service is great! I was reached out to very promptly after I posted my review and was informed that these plastic lid jars are only leak resistant. They are kindly sending me their silicone lid glass jars that are leakproof.

My baby doesn’t always finish her food so these are great for storing in the fridge & then warming up the food the next day. We also use them everyday for daycare! Being able to write her name, date, and contents on the top are perfect for daycare! A regular Expo marker doesn’t leave any staining on the lids. Super easy to wash off with warm water & dawn dish soap. They are glass which is nice & heavy duty! Highly recommend for solids, purées, etc!
