We needed a gate around our hearth to keep our toddler away. This gate is pretty much the only that fits the bill. We had though about just buying multiple gates and putting them together, but the double door feature was prefect.
While it can be used to cover/protect a 192โ span, youโre likely not trying to protect a length at exactly 192โ. It comes with x6, 24โ wide panels and x1, 48โ double door (measure pole-to-pole). The actual width of the double door is 40โ. For accessing our stove, the double door is essential however itโs not designed with the best thinking. One side swings outward only with a single catch on the bottom to prevent it from swinging inward. The other side has a double-catch, which requires you to pull it up over the base bar which can then swing in or out. Since there is no real structure at the center of the doors, the door which can only swing one way is very loose in that it wobbles a great deal. If my toddler wants to shake it (which he likes to do) this door area wobbles back and forth a lot. I donโt know why they didnโt design both sides with the double-catch pull up feature, as it would make the doors so much sturdier and prevent close to any wobbling.
As I was mentioning before, if you are looking to cover an area smaller in 192โ length, keep in mind what the panel sizes are as youโre working with a 48โ and 24โ firm widths. The span I had was 124โ, and the gate didnโt reach all the way around my hearth wall-to-wall. I had to make an extension for the gate to reach the wall.
That brings me to how this gate is constructed. Each panel is not created equal in design. Itโs hard to explain, but essentially I had to remove the ends from one style panel and attach them to another in order rot get this to work. If youโre not handy, it is difficult to get the ends off (but not impossible). Theyโre only attached by a protrusion in the metal to keep the ends from coming off. I had to push those protrusions in with a rod and clamp. Again, I donโt understand why the gates are designed this way. If each gate panel where uniform, this extra work wouldnโt be necessary.
Iโm only giving the gate 3 stars because of the design issues, but the gate works as intended. I wish they made this in black, because this really was the only gate on the market which wasnโt crazy expensive.

This product came well packaged. Instructions were easy to follow to put together the product. We do not currently have children but using to keep our old dog out of a room where we just put new carpet. The door is easy to open and close, i LOVE that the door opens both ways. This will be very sturdy when we anchor to the wall when we need to when we have children. I also like that it’s customizable in size, and shape.

ย Zero stars. Pointless. No matter how we anchor it the gate is faulty and pushes open from the inside. I have had 6 kids and plenty of baby gates. This gate with the โdouble doorsโ is faulty. Iโm so disappointed and itโs a huge pain to return. I donโt have the box any longer because I have used regalo products before and trusted it would be fine. Itโs not. I have contacted them but not heard back. Iโll update if they reach out to replace the door section.

We bought this almost a year ago now to โbrake up the space in my spouses office, to keep our inquisitive son from her computer cords. It was super easy to install, once you read the instructions. Its very adjustable to the space thanks to the design. Its sturdy and durable. Our toddler stands there and literally shakes it with everything he has, and its still standing. Looks good in the space and can be used in other places in our how if we need to. Great product especially for the price. Will probably get another one soon when we get rid of his play pen in our living room.

Bought this for our loft to block the banister gaps and the walkway in. Secured it to the banister for additional support, but my little guy wasn’t able to get out until he was 2. He watched us open it and figured it out. Not sure it’s stable enough if not supported, but works great for my need.

Si buscas una reja para delimitar un espacio amplio, esta es! De hecho como es modular, la puedes hacer mas chica o comprar otra y aumentar el tamaรฑo. No la tengo a la intemperie por lo que no se ha oxidado y, aunque si se ha mojado por la limpieza general, no ha perdido la calidad. Colocar con los tornillos podrรญa ser innecesario, dependiendo de que se desea delimitar y a quien se desea contener
