I was looking for an affordable baby monitor that I could bring with me when we travel or visit relatives. I initially purchased this item due to the great price and good reviews.
The picture quality looked great, the unit was crazy easy to set up (plug and play), and was packaged well.
The two fatal flaws in my opinion are the following:
1. Does not pan around the room ( there is a small feature where when you’re zoomed in you can go right slightly and left slightly but this will not give you an image outside of where the camera is DIRECTLY pointing.
2. Picture on the parent unit is SO tiny – its really challenging to make out the details of what you’re looking at
This is a well built unit and could serve a purpose for other families if you just need to look directly at one very specific area with the camera but overall did not meet our needs when using as a baby monitor. We ended up spending an extra $10 to buy a different model with a bigger screen and a camera that can pan 360 degrees around the room.

As stated in my headline…… this is exactly what I needed…. inexpensive, functional and easy to use Baby Monitor.
It’s not 1080p clarity and in living color but it does the job at a great price.

(I initially gave this a 1 star and probably still would for the sole reason that it stopped charging. But I’m changing my rating to 5 because of the exceptional customer service. See review update).
This is the second unit I have had. The first one stopped charging and was still in the refund window. This one did last longer but now 3.5 months later, my second unit is now not taking a charge. I guess you get what you pay for.
UPDATE 6/29/24: seller/manufacturer reached out and offered to replace the unit with an upgrade. (I was not asked to update this review. I’m doing it on my own to share their customer service has been great!). The new unit has a bigger screen and a few more features than the smaller one. So far I like it and it’s working well. I especially like the two way talk feature and the larger screen as well
As the cameras ability to see more of the room and view both my kids that sleep in this room. I’ll update again after using it for a while, but my initial review is that the quality seems higher compared to the other model.

We got this for our newborn, and while I thought the camera looked like a little higher quality than it was in real life, the whole system works as advertised. For the price, this is a good buy as it works to monitor the baby and make it so we know when they wake up. It has a VOX setting that turns off the screen and sound so that you can sleep with it at night; while I like the feature, it doesn’t work real well with having a white noise machine because the white noise keeps it on at the first two levels, and on the highest level it turns on and off too much. The monitor part is nice, it has a good battery life and you can take it around the house with you as needed. Overall, because it was as cheap as it is, I would recommend this for anyone looking for a cheap baby monitor.

Picture is on the grainy side but I figure that’s to be expected with a screen this small at this price point. Other than that it’s great, sound quality is surprisingly good and you can disconnect the parent monitor from the cord and take it around with you. Very nice for a parent to spy on their increasingly mobile baby and thwart all attempts at her hurtling herself bodily down the stairs when you leave the room.
My one complaint is that the picture is way too zoomed in and there’s no zoom out (there is a zoom in, with one zoom level). I had to mount the camera pretty far away to get the whole play area in the shot and it’s still not quite the entire area. I know it’s most likely for a crib where the baby is not going to be moving much but it would be nice to have a zoom feature for those using it for active kids.

The only feature I wish this had was a microphone. Both the wire for the camera and the charging cord charge the monitor. Able to get the perfect angle of my baby in the bassinet which I found difficult with the other monitor. I Wanted this to be easily portable to quickly move to different rooms and works perfect. Sound and picture quality are perfect. You’re able to adjust volume and brightness. Battery lasts a long while and picture still shows while charging. Charging cord I have found is plenty long enough to still view while doing whatever. Compact in size which we love! Easy to setup and no app required.

Never moved the cord, all of a sudden it just doesn’t work to charge it anymore ? Port still has electricity.. it’s literally just the cord. I don’t have any cords like that around so guess new camera it is

You get what you pay for. It’s not the best quality camera out there but it works well for my purposes. I only bought it so I didn’t have to carry my main baby camera with me everywhere. It’s very lightweight as well. The only con is that it doesn’t have great angles to see your baby and the zoom is pretty close up so you have to set it pretty far to get a full picture.

Didn’t want to spend a lot on a fancy camera. Just wanted something simple, so for the price it does the job. It does glitch sometimes but it doesn’t bother me. The picture is pretty clear, there is a little bit of a glare. But if you’re just looking for something cheap and easy to use I would recommend.

Love the night vision on this. Better then my old vtec. Simple to use and set up, good range. Sound is a bit tinny when the baby cries and it does not have the option to play music from the camera. But otherwise it was a good price amd does the job.
Editing to add that the seller is good and messaged me immediately to offer me a refund on the product if I was unhappy with the sound quality. I opted to keep the product as it works fine and I am happy with my purchase
