This 3M multi-use tape is the most excellent product what I have bought recently. It is strong, adhesive and easy to use for any hard surface. There is nearly no residue for peeling off. I’m very happy about it! Highly recommend for this excellent product!

I was hoping to not be able to tell the difference between this and another very common aggressive adhesive tape. Although the adhesive wasn’t as aggressive, it’s still fairly close to the one named after a specific primate. I would say that it’s a very solid alpha male Orangutan tape. So far, it’ll hold a temporary fiber drop in the crack of a driveway, and that’s what I needed it to do. Sure, it doesn’t double as a Brazilian wax hair remover like that other stuff, but I have an electric trimmer for that kind of stuff, so it’s no sweat. Thanks 3M, it’s the good good

I was happily surprised to find that this inexpensive tape was top quality. The tape is thick and easy to handle, which is often not true of cheap products. It’s tough as hell but easy to tear a piece off without need for scissors. The adhesive is strong and the tape doesn’t stretch out of shape. I have bought so many brands of duct tape that were thin, stretchy, or impossible to tear pieces off–and sometimes sticky with adhesive residue on the back– this was a real pleasure to work with. Some people said the tape is thin but I don’t find it thin. It’s not industrial but I find it has a sufficiently good thickness to it. It tears evenly, is easy to use and sticks! It does the job. I was looking for a black tape and this was a great find (for me, items wrapped in gray duct tape are hideous and this black tape blends well into the environment). The tape is sticky enough to hold well on a variety of surfaces, but does not leave behind a residue when removed. This black tape is a bit shiny but, for my purposes, it is not a problem (looks a bit like electrical tape).
