I read this in two days, it’s definitely one that leaves you wanting to read more. It has some really funny parts and some steamy parts. I wasn’t ready for every chapter to switch narrators back and forth but got used to it a ways into the book and ended up liking that. I wanted to give it 5 stars but took away one star for it being slightly predictable and similar to other story lines. I also didn’t care for the cartoon images every few chapters. I feel it took away from the real ness and my ability to connect to the characters. Overall I really liked this book and the way it was written and will be reading more from this author!

I absolutely loved Lottie! She was hilarious! The story line was good and the spice was just perfect!!! I was laughing so much throughout the reading. It kept me intrigued! I couldn’t put this book down! I think I just found a new favorite author!

    5 ⭐️ 3.5🌶.
This is the first time I read Meghan Quinn’s work and definitely won’t be the last.
Wow, I really enjoyed reading this book, truly laughed out loud, the spice took its time to arrive though (don’t know if Meghan is a Slow Burn writer) and when it came it was totally worth it. I specially love when a book shatters my heart, that feeling in my chest… when the hero really messed it up and is trying to get the heroine back, idk it does something in me as if I like to suffer 🫠
Huxley and Lottie are everything 😍, once Huxley opened up and showed the real him to Lottie things started getting very well between them, oh and I think he fell for her first. Lottie a very funny, spitfire, kind-hearted woman, who put everyone else before herself, I love her.

I enjoyed this as a quick read on a travel day. Some parts were awkward and cringy and literally made me laugh out loud. The story seemed familiar, but again, lighthearted and quick that I didn’t mind.

This was a cute book! It was definitely a slow burn kind of book! The banter in it was top tier. I was actually laughing out loud, kicking my feet, smiling like an idiot, all of it!
I loved the dual POV (which is no surprise lol) and I loved the spice. I think this book helped solidify the fact that I’m a sucker for fake dating!
I’m so excited to read the rest of the series!
I will say it was a touch long for me though and it got a little slow in the middle toward the end which slowed me down in my reading a bit!
But overall super cute romance that I would recommend!

This book was relatable, made me laugh out loud in numerous places and had just enough spice, all while telling an actual story and having a plot. Will seek out more of Meghan Quinn books to read!

This book was so good. The perfect mix of funny, serious, sweet and spicy. I read these books out of order. You can read them all as stand-alone but I feel like reading them in order is the way to go. Huxley and Lottie had a really good story and I laughed out loud so many times. I loved the progress they each made throughout the book and growth they had together and individually. I don’t want to give to many spoilers but some of the stuff they had to go through were hilarious and I would have cracked with the first class 😅

Overall a really great read 10/10 recommend reading for a good rom-com.
