We have most of the Level 1 books. They are a great introduction to science for little children. The only reason these don’t get five stars is because a slightly bigger font size would have made these books excellent.

We used to check this one out from the library, but it’s so good we now own it. All of my children enjoy it, from 9 on down to the little toddler. The illustrations are pretty. There is so much information packed in here without being preachy. My 4 year old especially requests this one to be read aloud. This is a great book to have for a unit study, or just for your own little one’s library.
