Well made but you will have to grind the pads down a bit on edges so you can slide them in on shims. Easier if you are going to reuse the original shims, which are stainless and clean up nice, then you don’t need the new ones installed. These pads are quiet and brake well.

Buy the ACDelco that are about 100 dollars don’t buy these cheap one they changed the material not the same pads anymore I never had problem with them before I have crome rims and driving two days may rims are black and covered in brake dust some of worst pads I have ever got from ACDelco save yourself the headache send a little more a get the 100 ACDelco pads you won’t regret it ps I just had to replace them a little longer then two months of them on if your going to get the ACDelco pads get this part number 171-1252 no regrets

I had some brake squeel on my 2009 Chevrolet Silverado. Turned out to be bent hardware but my pads were low anyway and this kit comes with new hardware. Very high quality pads. I suggest buying extra lube for the install as they only give you a tiny amount. I figured I would need to turn my rotors because I had some pulsation, but didn’t have time. Turns out just replacing the pads was enough that the pulsation with away. My stopping distance is significantly shorter now too!

Had a mechanic install these on my 2008 Silverado 1500 (subzero temps without a heated garage = worth paying for labor). They were impressed with the quality of the parts I brought in since most people bring them cheap junk to install. Work much better than the brakes that came with the truck. Glad I got these and saved a ton of money – about $90 total for odd and rotors through Amazon versus $270 for oem parts at the shop.

These appear to be the same or better quality than the factory pads. They come with everything you need to install them, including some lube to keep them quiet. I installed both sets in around 15 minutes and immediately noticed a difference. I use my truck to pull an RV and boat frequently so good brakes are important to me. I trust these pads to stop even if I have to slam on the brakes.

Been a while since I’ve used AC Delco brakes, my last two sets on my Tahoe were Duralast Max, one set lasted 60K the other the rotors warped in less than 14K. Since I Tow a boat quite a bit i wanted pads and rotors that were more heavy duty. These Delco pads are awesome. Quiet, stop fast and very easy to install. I had lots of stopping power when hitting the brakes towing last weekend. I will buy these again next time i have to change brakes!
