We own 2 white vehicles, park outside and live in an area with high iron fallout due to several industrial plants in town. I began noticing rust spots on both vehicles while washing them and after some research came across Adam’s Iron Remover. This product works exactly as advertised, spray on, iron deposits turn purple and wash right off! Keeps the paint on the vehicles looking great! The gallon jug has lasted me over a year and I use a spray bottle I picked up from the local hardware store. Buying in bulk is a real cost savings over the smaller bottles sold at the auto parts store! Overall very satisfied with the performance of this product and will certainly purchase again!

Adam’s Iron Remover is absolutely fantastic! I used it on my carโs wheels and paint, and it effortlessly removed iron deposits and rust fallout that had been building up for months. Watching the purple reaction as it works is so satisfying, and the results were crystal clear after rinsing.
The spray bottle is easy to use, and the 16oz size is generous enough for multiple applications. It’s safe for my carโs paint, and there was no harsh scrubbing needed. My car looks cleaner than ever, and the wheels especially shine like new.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to step up their detailing game! This product delivers exactly as promised.

I decided to give this product a try, I was surprised because it fulfilled its purpose.
I totally recommend it, at least I avoided that little rust that started to appear on the door.
Here are some pictures, I forgot to take pictures of the “during”, but here is the Before and After picture.
Note: The smell is strong but when you see the result you forget it.

I have a white full-size 4-door long-bed truck that was riddled with orange rust spots. This has happened to every white vehicle I have had. Used this Iron remover and it works. I believe it is a pretty mild formulation since it can take several applications to get the spots off. But I would rather apply several times than have the paint start reacting negatively. I went through one full bottle on one vehicle and just ordered a couple more since there are still signs of spots. Have not found a better alternative. I also just switched out my brake pads for ceramic ones to hopefully not have any metal reaction.

It works very well. Spray it on, wait per instructions, agitate, and rinse. It removed bonded contaminates off my cars paint. I even tried it on my glass shower door where there was a lot of mineral buildup, it worked fantasticly! I really like this product. But! I will not likely buy it again because it’s too expensive. I paid $45 for my 1st purchase and now it’s Over $65 for a gallon, no thanks. Adam’s this is too much to charge.

Works really well as a iron remover and alot cheaper too compared to other big companies.

I’m amazed at how effective Adam’s Iron Remover is at protecting my car’s finish. The new formulation (released June 2019) is a significant improvement over similar products I’ve tried. What sets this product apart is its ability to remove iron particles from your paint without any mechanical scrubbing – just spray and watch the magic happen!
The science behind it is fascinating – when you apply it, the solution turns purple as it reacts with iron contamination, giving you a visual indicator that it’s working. It’s incredibly satisfying to actually see the harmful fallout being removed from your paint. Unlike clay bars that only handle surface contaminants, this product gets deep into the paint to remove embedded iron particles.
One of the biggest improvements in this new formula is the reduced smell. If you’ve used other iron removers, you know they can be pretty overwhelming, but Adam’s has managed to make this much more pleasant to work with. It’s also pH neutral and acid-free, so you can feel confident using it on your clear coat or single-stage paint. Just remember to avoid getting it on trim and metallic surfaces.
For best results, simply rinse your car first, then spray this on any painted surface (works great on wheels too!). The orange-colored formula makes it easy to see where you’ve applied it, and it activates quickly on contact. The fact that it’s made in the USA and comes with a 110% satisfaction guarantee just adds to my confidence in the product.
This has become an essential part of my detailing routine. For anyone serious about protecting their vehicle’s finish from iron contamination, this product is absolutely worth the investment.

It does what all iron removes do melt embedded particles before or after claying. Spray on, let it sit, and bleed purple, then wash off with rinse or rinse with contact wash to remove all the staining. From my usage, all iron removers do the same job. The only difference is how bad the smell is when using the product. This one is diluted with an orange scent which is not strong enough to mask all of the nasty smell from iron removers, but it is way better than ones without any scent such as Carpro iron remover which made me want to hurl when I first used it. I would give this 5 stars if this was cheaper to buy in bulk such as their 5-gallon when it was on sale and with amazon prime so no shipping cost as the buyer. If their mega foam had prime shipping then it would be a good deal. I couldn’t find any other brands that sell iron remover for less. It works well on all exterior surfaces of the car including wheels, brakes, and tires. It might cause some rusting on the metal brake rotors but those will come off when braking so no worries. Also, don’t use it on damaged surfaces because iron remover is an acid. 3 Stars because the price is still steep for 1-gallon and 5-gallon (buy them in gallon or 5-gallon size when on sale, then use ur own spray bottle instead of their overprice small bottle versions). Another star was lost because of the smell which is not as horrific as Carpro iron x. Iron remover should only really be used when prepping your vehicle for ceramic coating or some other intensive application. Iron remover shouldn’t be used in every car wash and only use when preparing a coating over the vehicle. So a gallon or 5 gallons will last you years if you DIY and not a business.

I was hesitant if this product would help remove rust. I tried it on my rims and let it sit for about 20 seconds before thoroughly rinsing it off. It changes colors so you know when to rinse it. Thereโs no smell which is great but it has a bit of residue if you get it on your hands. It doesnโt 100% remove rust, especially hard rust but it does a great job of removing a good amount of it.

I still haven’t had the time to use the product as yet, but I have seen it used in car dealing business and it works.

Its good product but,
Dry very fast which damages the pain.
Barely covers one car I didn’t even use it on the wheels .
If you can avoid this two i think it will be great for you

We bought a smaller spray bottle of this to try something a little cheaper than Iron X. It worked the same. Super easy, spray on, rinse off. Still stinks, as expected. We bought this big jug because we plan on treating our cars every spring and it was cheaper and less wasteful than buying the smaller bottles.

As an amateur detailer, the first thing I do is spray the car down with this before washing it all off. It turns purple after a couple minutes which means it’s doing it’s thing. Between using iron remover vs forgoing it, it’s clear that the paint is much more vibrant and smoother having used it (alpine white on a BMW). Worth it, and an absolute must for me.
