I purchased a bolt on Big brake kit by sourcing parts for a 2010 Honda Pilot for my 2007 Honda Odyssey and what a difference! I bought this van used and it was not maintained at all. I have spent the last 5 months slowly bringing it back up to par.
These pads are some of the best I’ve felt in terms of smoothness, brake dust, and stopping power. I have not felt this confident in stopping this big ol van! It seems like Honda skimped on the brakes and I plan to be towing with this van (about 8k lbs total) and I did not trust the OEM brakes at all. Granted they looked pad slapped multiple times, I went ahead and replace it all.

Replaced wife’s brakes: passenger side rotor warped. Believe that was a ‘$89.95 Brake Special’ by the prev. owner.
These, with Centric rotors, went on well; the spring retainer was easy to handle by installing the upper spring, using the caliper to hold the pads together, flipping the caliper upward, installing the lower spring, then finishing.
Great braking power, smoothness, reliability/lack of fade, liked the price, liked the install. 10/10 would recommend again.

Pros: I installed these pads, as what others described, they are easy to install, fit 2016 mdx, very very quiet and there are very low dust noticed.
Cons: However I do noticed that they may generate more heat than the OEM pads. I replaced the front two pads with these but kept the rear two OEM pads since after examination they are still good. What I noticed is after every drive, the front two rotors are very hot, hot for finger to touch, as these might still be fine, as both front rotors are hot to a similar degree (unlike other issue where one is noticeably hotter than the other, indicating uneven wearing) I then uninstalled them, making sure the gliding pin were moving freely and well lubricated with 3M paste recommended for the gliding pin, but still they are much hotter than the rear two OEM pads. I know it could be other issues too, such as master cylinder problem, but this is what I have been noticing so far….not sure if others have the similar issues

Replaced pads on a 2016 Acura MDX, which are notorious for brake pad deposits from the OEM set that cause what people consider “warping”, but is really just uneven pad deposits causing vibration.
Pair with a good but cheap set of BLANK rotors (don’t buy into that slotted & drilled crap, they just cause more issues), like Wagner’s line of coated rotors, and you’ll be just fine.
Pluses:
1) Comes with all necessary hardware and grease
2) Fits perfectly
3) Pretty cheap at $50 a set normally when on sale.
4) Smooth application
5) Quiet
6) Low dust
Negatives:
1) None really, I’ll update if I notice any
Highly recommended for OEM equivalent replacement. Others may suggest EBC stuff, but be cautious about which version and the tradeoffs of using some of the more aggressive pads vs what your vehicle is used for.

Pads themselves are great. Have used before. Avoid Premier Auto Part supplier. Pads arrived with the lube packet sliced open and used. Of course this was with the car up, wheels off and ready to roll without any extra lube. Shipping was over a week long process. Next time i will go to the autoparts store instead.

Previously, I made a mistake of buying the cheap Chinese garbage from the auto parts store. Now that I have replaced and used these pads for awhile, my impressions are very good. Super fast stopping power coupled with the Centric Parts rotors. No brake dust! Very easy to install. No extra parts were needed to install these. I used a similar set of the Akebono’s on my wife’s Honda and they are wearing very well. Forget the auto parts store, find the Akebono’s that fit your vehicle, buy them, and don’t look back.
