THIS COMPANY MAKES BRAKE CALIPERS/BINDERS THE BEST= MY 2004 MERC SL 55 AMG FULLY LOADED STICKER=$139,000.00 and it was the only production vehicle to ever have 8 PISTON FRONT CALIPERS EAXH SO TWO SETS OF PADS JUST FOR THE FRONT AND 4 PISTON CALIPERS/BINDERS AND I CAN HIT 150mph AND STOP UNLIKE MOTOR TREND =NOW TO BE FAIR I PUT STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE LINES AND BRAKE FLUSH RACING BRAKE FLUID STOPTECH ON TIRE RACK 900 boiling point! BUT HIGHEST SPEED 187 mph and I can let go of the steering and do not need to warm brakes since MERCEDES has there brakes just lightly touch the rotors every second to give good clean surface and warm and I could stop
Within a few feet =like 20!!! When you have the right set up with massive rotors and massive Akebono calioers then your golden! Most race cars do not have my set up! Not cheap on that car with 771 HP and 793 torque!! Once I got the car perfect then just weeks later I had it at the dealer for yearly inspection and 6 month oil and filter change and while there a 10 cubic yard dumpster rolled down the hill gaining speed and the right front corner the hardest part of the dumpster nailed my merc dead center grill (which was all beans new ) and unfortunately nationwide totaled her out!!! So sad!! I have bought and sold and drove and kept well over 509 vehicles in 40+ years and my beemers and datsuns were light and just enough power but my merc weighing in at 5209 curb weight 4800 lbs dry!! That’s as heavy as a number H1 almost but the 5.5 liter V8 super charged more then makes up for it when you can beat even a ZO6 and Porsche’s from light to light or windy canyon carving!! I may get another or the new C8 vette only if they come out with a ZO6 automatic paddle shift and super charged then the vette!! Meanwhile I am rolling in a 2011 Audi A8 V8 AWD great safe and reliable and comfy!! But akebono brake parts in the top three Brembo and Akebono are the best!!! Highly recommend for any vehicle with any style or manufactured caliper the pads will work great

I just bought these brake pads and installed them on Honda Crv 2015 and they are perfect fit. It was super easy to put them on and I like you get all new brackets with pads. Only thing I didn’t like is that there was no grease included for breaks but I did have packs from previous brake pads so I use that. After installing breaks and first drive there was no noise squeaking or grinding.I gave them 5 stars now and I will update my review after I drive some time and I can tell more about durability and longevity

No noise and no issues with stopping! These Akebonos are the top quality brake pads for everyday driver like you and me. I don’t do crazy braking and stops, I don’t race and drive normally. Grab these if you want to have the most reliable brake pads ever. (These fit on the rear of my Honda CRV 2016 FWD model) Akebonos were the first to create this ceramic tech on brakes and it shows and I can feel and hear (nothing!). Photo shows before and after pads put in. I found out old ones that Honda put it were also Akebonos! They lasted 125k mileage with few more MM remain before the squealer (still had 4mm left). I know that I can trust these new pads to go that long, if not even more.
As a novice, it took me about 1.5 hours to install these (front and back) but I made sure I took my time going over all the details and greased all my calipers and pins. Very easy to install. No noise. Model 1086-A comes with the “hardware” kit while the regular 1086 do not so if you want to do it right and change your rusty hardware kit, make sure to get the one with letter ####A at the end.
Amazon online dealer that I used to get these rear brake pads were really good, they sent my brakes in time along with other items so I can get these done on the weekend that I wanted. No dealys.

These pads are similar and sometimes better then OEM pads. I have installed them on Subaru’s, Acura’s, BMW’s, Honda and Toyota and never had any issues with them. They are more expensive then other aftermarket brands but worth the price. Limited brake dust, no noise, always fit perfectly and long lasting. Does not include any lubricant so be prepared to buy your own
