Set up was easy, user friendly and prompt my perfectly threw! One of my favorite features is the light in front. Mine is teal in normal use, if there is a cautionary action going on, it blinks yellow, if something needs an immediate look… it blinks red! I know kinda mundane! After 5 of my own builds , which where nice , to 10 store bought. Best computer I have ever experienced!

I ordered the system on 26 August 2024, received it on 30 August. So far, so good. The system itself seems to be fine as specified in the product listing.

The problem is there is no supporting documentation, no information about the Microsoft Office “lifetime” license, no biggie as it was not the reason for the purchase. The real problem is that the 1yr Alienware/Dell service support was started on July 7th. This a full 50 days before I even ordered the system. So, the question is why? And who is it registered to for service? I cannot add the system to my products within the Dell ecosystem. Dell recognizes the service tag and displays the correct information. But when I click to add it to my product list the site errors out. This part may entirely be a site issue. But with the service for the system starting more than a month before purchase I feel like something is not on the up and up. It feels “off.”

I have ordered Alienware desktops before, this delivery seems off. I just want it cleared up and the service should be started on the delivery date, I’d even except ordering date.,

TLDR; System is fine, but there seems to be some shenanigans in the service/support and lack of documentation.

  7. Not strong enough for my shoes

Wanted to leave my feedback after reading the 5 star reviews. 1500$ for this sounds nice, I got it for 400$ or so off and it wasn’t that low sadly because this system is likely worth 1500$.

    Cons
*This is highly overpriced for what you get
*the motherboard sucks (made by dell)
*Upgrading Ram is a hassle because dell wants you to buy their super overpriced version
*SSD – you can buy a much cheaper version than dell offers
*Dell bloatware – comes installed, lots of stuttering issues (mouse, graphics)
*uses 13th gen Intel CPU, which has voltage issues (big scandal they are keeping hush hush, had my CPU replaced on 8/13)

Get something else, I knew I should’ve done more research.

    Pros
    Prebuild
    Liquid cooling

I have this system, got it on sale for around 2100 (1tb vs 512gvb). It is not worth it – you can build something cheaper and better. The motherboard is made by dell and it sucks, if you want to upgrade ram it’s a pain or highly limited unless you pay nearly 2x more for ‘dells version’ of said ram.

This PC is great, don’t listen to the bad reviews.
Bad reviews cite things like an open box or DOA. These things can and will happen with any computer you order online.
I purchased the i7-13700f w/ 16gbs of ram because it was on sale for $1500
The computer arrived well-packaged and secure. Set up was a breeze, took about an hour total because of updates. The computer runs games very well.
Baldurs Gate 3 @4K with Ultra settings gets well above 100 fps
Cyberpunk 2077 @1440p with ultra settings and ray tracing maintains 60fps
Fortnite @4K with max settings and ray tracing averages above 80 fps
Computer comes with Alienware Control Center which allows you to view temps, change RGB, and overclock. The computer runs cool and has never gotten above 170 degrees even when playing Cyberpunk at maxed settings.
Overall I would highly recommend this computer to anyone who wants to PC game without building their own. Block out the Alienware haters and PC Elitist that tell you to build your own.
