Just what you would expect from a brand like Alpine. This beautiful little but powerful amp gave life to my car audio system. Matched with some JBLs GTOs component speakers, u can’t go wrong with this amp, installation is pretty straight forward, just connect all cables required and you’re done. let the music blast!

Recently was looking around for a good mid-range 5 channel amplifier to put in a 2017 TOYOTA Corolla and found this APLINE S-A55V, once all the wires were ran and paired with only a subwoofer and stock speakers. THIS AMP PULLED THROUGH. The amp upgrade alone made the sound quality in the car feel premium. The adjustments are easy to tweak, no hissing, whirling or buzzing of any kind. As well as having a small foot print. Highly encourage and recommend to anyone looking to upgrade from stock audio.

It’s Alpine. Would more do I need to say. It works as described. Quality is top tier. Performance is outstanding!

Installed on a boat 22 ft open bow jet boat, pushing 4, 6 1/2 pioneers and one 10-in Alpine type-S in a custom fiberglass vented box. Can’t say enough good things. The pioneers really came to life, and the sub pulls harder on the lower… Pretty sure I haven’t broken it in yet. 20 hours of runtime so far, no problems no heat!

I wish I would have hooked this thing up sooner, because my return date expired. I hooked everything up. Found out channel 1 and 2 turn the amp off, if it’s up too loud. No clipping signal or anything just straight shuts off. very disappointed in Alpine. Left it hooked up cause I can’t return it. But the other channels seem fine. Idk if there’s any warranty, but I don’t think I’ll be buying any Alpine brands off Amazon anymore! Real let down! I bought this for a small easy and clean system. But now probably just gonna run a two amp setup. One 4 channel one mono, instead of the 5 channel

I bought this amplifier after another brand failed. This amp is run 4 – 6 1/2 speakers and 1- 8 subwoofer. I tuned the crossover to supply mid and highs to the speaker and turned the gain halfway. This amplifier was a good addition to the upgraded stereo. I would recommend the amplifier to anyone.
It’s been a month since I installed this amp. Since I drove the vehicle on a three hours trip. The amp os mounted in the trunk with very low ventilation. This amp took all the abuse I gave and still work flawlessly. I tuned the levels to get better clarity and still holding up reliable
