The headset and amp came in excellent shape, I had absolutely no trouble with hookup and they worked out the box as advertised!. The seller was excellent and sent them out very quickly, sound stage is good, directional sound is wonderful! They are open back so keep that in mind but can be converted with a mid kit also astro offers a wide variety of accessories and customization options for ordinary Joe’s up to audiophiles looking for high end quality. The only issue I had was with USPS after paying for shipping and handling I couldn’t get them delivered and had to pick then up myself several days after but that’s a bone I have to pick with them.

These headphones were purchased renewed (keep this in mind), and came in a plain carboard box and in heat-sealed plastic bags to keep everything neat and tidy. They had minimal padding, but arrived in excellent order, so I feel that they are undamaged and I can thus give a review on headphones in good working condition.

I purchased these headphones as a replacement to a pair that was causing headaches, being too tight on my head. These are an excellent fit, gripping my head without pressing the arms of my glasses too tightly, and with a remarkably sturdy grip. They will shift if you move your head rapidly, but not so much that you should ever have to adjust them simply walking about or gaming.
The fit and finish on the headphones and their associated gear is exactly what I would expect out of something of this price point. It is excellent. Nothing much I can say really. The plastics are sturdy and feel good, the ear pads are plush and comfortable, the headband is well shaped and the padding more than supports their weight (which is fair). All cords are nicely flexible and have high quality sheathing.

The mix amp and the program that Astro provides to use with it are an exceptional addition, and I would highly recommend that those who are considering the headphones without the mix amp should reconsider. It makes switching quickly between music and voices completely painless, provides a very sensitive volume control, and allows you to completely customize the sound profiles on your headphones (you get four to switch between).

Sound profile without the mix amp is excellent. I would compare them to a more gaming-focused (bass heavier, slightly mid-light) Sony 7506. The fidelity isn’t quite as good as the Sonys, but to a less trained ear they’re exceptional. They have a pleasingly neutral sound, and the open back design provides a good, open soundstage experience.
This changes completely when you add the mix amp. Want more bass? No problem. Mids not prominent enough for you? Bring them to the fore. Trebel a little too aggressive? Push that slider down. It turns an already excellent headset into an absolutely fantastic one.

Oh, and the microphone is good too. Nothing really to note other than that it picks up my voice extremely well and with clarity.

I’ll report back if the headphones catch fire or if the mix amp decides to bite me, but I’m looking forward to using these more!

El producto es usado. Viene en bolsas de plastico dentro de una caja de carton comun y corriente. Lo se porque ya habia comprado los mismos audifonos y vienen en una caja original y bien empacados. El Pro Amp viene con numero de serie tachado y sin plastico protector y por lo mismo viene rayado. Los audifonos funcionan bien, con y sin el Pro Amp y por ser de Estados Unidos ni me voy a molestar en devolverlos, pero si les doy una estrella por anunciarlo como nuevo cuando no lo es.

Llegaron antes de lo estipulado, a pesar de que son Refurbished llegaron como nuevos, aunque no en el empaque original venían en 2 bolsas separadas, los audífonos están impecables, sin rayones o detalles estéticos de ningún tipo, en cuanto a su funcionamiento todo al 100. Los recomiendo ampliamente por su precio y la calidad en la que se reciben.

They are Great headphones for gaming on a computer. The ONLY downfall I had was my padding came off the magnetic ear clip piece I just Glued it right back on with all purpose fast setting glue and problem solved. My headset came with the factory box the only thing it was missing was the foam for the mouthpiece that was it.
But I like how you can replace the magnetic ear piece and all with a upgrade kit..
Yes my headset had a few scratches on it from wear and all. But that was fine with me. If you are that worried about the small surface scratches you can always buff them out like a car. They will come right out.

This is definitely a great buy considering these same headphones are almost $300 brand new. And the wireless A50’s are no where near this quality of sound as the A40s TR has..
