I on my 2nd unit both had issues . 1 was great until it updated then never worked again. The other was no WiFi from the start. Just a headache with poor suport

Have had this router for a few months not and love it. Came from a cable providers router that only covers 800sqft and I live in a 2 story 1500sqft house. Would have inconsistent speeds and wifi drops all the time down stairs. Now with this router I’ve had no issues at all. Reaches much further than I need and has an app that makes everything very easy to change.

I highly recommend going with a refurbished, I expected it to show some type of prior use but it looks like it came straight from the manufacturer. I have around 35 devices ranging from cameras, smart bulbs, gaming consoles, tv’s and computers linked to the nighthawk and I haven’t had any issues with performance like I had with my last router. If you are looking for a router that’s affordable, with top notch security and performance I recommend going with any router from the nighthawk family!

Works fine with 1.2 ac speeds but will NOT stay with ax speeds. Each boot it will reset back to 1.2 ac. Which is fine but not why I purchased it. Still it is faster than my linksys wifi5 router. I’m 25 feet from router wireless and I get up to 600 Mbps average. Only get this router if you have speeds up to 500 Mbps wireless. Anything less just get a wifi5 router and you will be fine.

Definitely worth the investment. A huge leap from the router provided from the ISP that we had to pay for monthly and didn’t not had as many options as this device.
It covers a big range of my house and allowes you to configure everything off your phone.

I bought this router to replace the godawful WiFi router foisted on me by my ISP that turned out to be nothing but an excuse to constrain my networking choices and speeds. The RAX70 has provided me with the means to finally separate my networks and configure them to my requirements. Setup was simple and clean in AP mode with only minor addition of ACL Rules to complete the setup from the GUI, I don’t do Apps for security related administration preferring to work directly with my devices, a legacy of my training, so am unable to review control from an App I now have the throughput speeds and control that I require. A nice router that I am sure will meet my needs for many years to come. I would not hesitate to recommend this router to friends and family as a worthwhile addition to their networks.
