The built in fan started making noise within an hour of being turned on. Initial testing confirmed all was working as it should. Unfortunately the sound level of the fan is too distracting to use. And worst of all… it is just past the 90 day warranty.

I was concerned that the docking station would not work as expected, since it was “refurbished,” but I needed a second one for my home office. Works like a dream! It was so easy to set up, now I have both monitors, my wireless keyboard and mouse, and my headphones all connected to the laptop and I can accomplish all the work I need to do. Docking station HP per portatili HP con porta Thunderbolt, 120W, rigenerata. Con questa, con un’unica connessione si alimenta il laptop e si offrono tutte le possibili connessioni, USB, video, LAN e quant’altro. Il prodotto è assolutamente integro, come nuovo, funziona perfettamente, ha un sacco di porte addizionali, sia di tipo USB 3.0, USB C, LAN, video 4k. Unica accortezza: le porte video 4k (2) sono solo con attacco DisplayPort, non HDMI. Se uno ha il cavo HDMI dal monitor, necessita di un adattatore. Io ho provato sia l’adattatore DisplayPort che USB C e ho adottato quello USB-C, perchè più compatto.
Unico neo: il prodotto che mi è stato spedito mancava del cavo di alimentazione (cavo per PC desktop standard, costo 5€) che ho acquistato separatamente. Ma il notevole risparmio rispetto a un prodotto nuovo (oltre 50€) è valso ampiamente la spesa addizionale.
L’oggetto mi è stato consegnato in tempi rapidissimi, inferiori a quanto indicato al momento dell’acquisto e l’imballo era perfetto.

Had to return it twice but the third one is working perfectly! Second exchange had to be done directly with the vendor since Amazon only does one replacement. The vendor was super helpful and was quick to respond. I got my replacement quickly and return label.
Issues with the first couple I got were:
1st: When I started using the power to the dock would go in and out making everything I had plugged into it sporadically turn off and on.
2nd: One of the ports for my monitor did not work and only one monitor displayed instead of the two.

I got this because our company provides the same at the office. And I wanted one for working at home. It works exactly the same. My issue is with the physical or cosmetic appearance of it. I know this is not brand new, but the description of their renewed doesn’t seem to match. It arrived, dirty with a dent, plus a gash.

power connector had it’s pin broken, i had a duplicate product, so i replaced the power adapter, next there is not even a single port out of this dock that works. Basically no one saw that this product works before sending this faulty product out. Wasted my 2 weeks in waiting for the product and will waste more time sending this back and waiting for refund.
Shameful, how people can be so irresponsible. Products like this will get amazon down, no checks anywhere.

I knew I was buying renewed, but the description for “Excellent” condition stated the product looked like “new”. Out of the box, the dock had multiple scratches and a dent. The USB-C cable connector looks like it was bent at one point as it has a noticeable crimp. It works, but I don’t trust the connector enough to keep it.

I have tried everything that I could find in HP page and internet, but when I turn on the laptop, HP ProBook 650 G8, I have to use the laptop keyboard at login because the USB ports, where I connect the wireless keyboard and others, are not active until after logging in.
