Yea I Bought It –
I bought this chip because it was NOT recommended by the big YTubers (you know who they are). It smokes any app, it plays 1080 games 85-110 fps. It runs memory at DDR5-7000 Responsiveness is incredible. This isn’t a 200fps chip. It is superburb at everything else. Runs cool.

Used this CPU in a few builds. The users are surprised of the performance every time.
Pro 1: Extremely high cost/value ratio even at its initial higher listing price. Now prices have came down (at the time of this review) makes it even better.
Pro 1: Paired with 6000 DDR5 this CPU shows its performance. There is a noticeable difference in response and snappiness in the OS and applications over the 5600G and 3200 DDR4.
Pro 2: The gaming is 100% enjoyable with moderate settings at 1080. Anyone getting to gaming on a budget should be satisfied with what this little sucker can do.
Con: Bad IHS design with many gaps for TIM to get suck in and it has.
Pro Tip: Like all new CPU’s on the market you’ll most likely have to flash the BIOS of the new motherboard you are buying. You’ll need a donor CPU to flash if the board you choose don’t have something like Gigabytes Q-Flash capabilities, so be prepared.
Would I buy it again? Yes.

For the price it is one of the best you can buy and more in my country where the value is almost double. I recommend it if your budget is limited.

This processor is capable of both decent gaming and productivity applications alike. Very impressive gaming abilities playing AAA games such as Fallout 76. Good price and nice for small form factor builds. Very powerful.

Built my first PC as my very old Dell XPS gave up. Did more research that you can imagine as was building on a bit of a budget.
Decided on this as I felt being on a latest gen CPU and on the AM5 socket was important instead of investing in a new PC where any upgrade would require new MOBO and RAM. Buying a pre built was my first option but the price seemed to sky rocket as soon as you went to AM5/DDR5.
In the end, got the entire PC done for around £500 and the result is fantastic.
I use my PC for work and then evening gaming so was concerned that it wouldn’t hold up on the gaming front – but it does. I’m not a pro gamer but I can’t see what this doesn’t do. I think all the reviewers that say you need big GPUs for high FPS are only looking at the FPS and not actually playing the game. I put on the new(ish) Tomb Raider game which is a great looking 3D world game and it ran great. I noticed a little (but only slight) stutter on ultra settings so dropped the graphics down to high – then it ran smoothly and I couldn’t even notice the difference. I’ve also played Anno 1800 on ultra and it’s perfect with the CPU usage at about 20%. These were both at 2560×1080 res as I have an ultra wide monitor.
Be aware I’ve had to upgrade the stock cooler as temps were jumping all over the place, in the 70s under medium load and it crept up to 90 after a long session on a hot day. With my new (£15 thermalright) air cooler, the temps barely go past 60.
Overall, this CPU allowed me to build a PC on the new AM5 socket that’s fast, can handle games and provides future upgrade, all for a total build of £500.
