Update: after this review, the seller offered me a refund, which I really appreciate them standing behind it. I’m upgrading my rating despite the one received breaking. Original review: Bought this to replace one i had had for years. Instantly seemed the quality was not there, but was lighter, so that would have been a plus. Within 2 months, the ports stopped working. I thought it was my cords, and replaced, only to find it was this. Very annoying, especially seeing they only stand behind their product for a month. Loss of a long time brand loyalist.

This charger is fantastic and ideal for travelling purposes when you can’t rely on hotel infrastructure. I took this on a cruise and it was the PERFECT addition to what we needed. That being said, it is much larger than you’d expect based on the photos.. so just be cognizant it’s not exactly the perfect transportable size.. so if you’re looking for something smaller, I’d find an alternative but otherwise, it’s great!

I purchased this plug after getting a smart watch and needing more outlets on my night stand.
As so many new devices no longer come with chanrging blocks, having the USB ports and C port is so great.
In total there are 3 regular outlets, 2 USB and 1 C plug
I specifically chose the anker brand as I own a small fast charge block for my phone and it’s been working great for 2 years now. I knew this one would be just as reliable.
The block is a big bigger and bulkier once you have a few things plugged in, but it is kinda cute, compact and comes with a small adhesive to stick it to any surface so it doesn’t move around.
It also has a decent length of cord should your main wall outlet be far away.

It comes with a sturdy cable and solid build. The power outlets come on 3 sides of the cube, which is convenient. If you have adapters that plug into the power directly, you won’t get in the way of other plugs. The charger has a 20W output, only a medium power rating. It won’t power your laptop through the USB-C port. But it charges other portable devices like phones and iPad quickly. If you need higher power, Anker 524 has 30W instead. The ports are well constructed and hold USB plugs tightly.

First off, I mainly buy Anker accessories for all of my Apple devices and always have for several years. Most of their products are unbeatable in functionality, variety of uses and most importantly QUALITY. This product is no exception!! I take 2 of these on every vacation that my boyfriend and I go on! Most hotels have very few outlets, that are not in very accessible locations within the rooms (behind the bed, across the room, etc.). We BOTH sleep using C-PAP machines, we have a tablet (i pad), he uses an android phone, I have an iPhone, battery charger, I watch, etc…. Needless to say there is NEVER enough outlet/charging space for everything. This solves our problems perfectly! There is EVERYTHING on these cubes! It has AC outlets, USB-A ports, and a USB-C port too! No matter what device you have, you can use this cube!! Granted, you have to bring your own cords to connect, which I use Anker, but ANY BRAND USB cord will work! Best investment ever!! Definitely worth the money!!

It’s not great for permanent “installations as the cords do start to spider/octo out and it doesn’t look great, but for travel, this is a nice addition that’s low profile and compact.

Awesome product. I have 3 of these… my original one has a button to turn the usb ports on. The 2 newer ones have USB’s that are always on… that’s the only thing that would make me decrease to 4 stars. Even that isn’t that big of an issue. They should be 4.75 stars. Very sturdy. Great value.
