This form factor is brilliant and more companies should do something like this. It makes it so easy to hide wires, it looks good, and makes docking easy and fun.
The one issue that gets to me is one that is likely attributable to something about the Mac I’m using, but regardless it’s annoying. There seems to be no easy/reliable way to wake my Mac from sleep when connected to this thing. Sometimes it’s very quick (I don’t expect instant), sometimes it just sits there and nothing wakes it and I need to ‘coax’ it awake by turning it off and on, opening the laptop, pressing a bunch of buttons, etc. I just wish I could press a button and have the thing come on.

I’m removing a star because the reliability of this thing is bad. Twice now I’ve had to get the thing replaced because it randomly stopped working. I thought maybe I was super unlucky but a friend I recommended this to just had the same thing happen. A lot of promise to this thing but super annoying that it breaks for no reason every few months.

I really want to love this product. It looks great, gets rid of a whole lot of cable clutter, and the little phone charger is a nice little touch.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t always want to work very well. Here are some things that bugged me:
– USB C connection is very finnicky… sometimes it will connect to my display, other times it bugs out and zooms in and zooms out until i unplug and replug.
– The side power button doesn’t bootup my laptop. Not sure why, but i think it’s supposed to.
– I’m beginning to suspect it’s the reason for my recent string of BSODs. I only get it when i’m plugged into to dock and not at work on a $50 generic dock.
– could use a few more usb and display ports.
– ports on the underside of the dock can be hard to reach if you have big hands and already have the monitor sitting on the dock.
– surface material could scratch easily

In an attempt to organize my desk I replaced my Anker 13 in 1 docking station with this one. Although I was loosing the capabilities of two down stream monitors I was okay with it. Suits my desk perfect but I lost a USB as it only has 2 ports as supposed as my other dock. Also the stand glitches easily and at times bumps to my thunderbolt 4 cable causes sync issue with the stand in addition my 3.5mm aux connected to speaker is unstable when stand is turned off making noise. Though the stand is a great monitor stand and fills my needs albeit loosing some features and some annoyance.

Very expensive item. Worked well at first. After only 3 months of usage it stopped working. It not longer turns on. Very disappointed as initially it worked well and seemed like it was good quality. I was unable to get a replacement through Amazon! For this price range you’d expect the product to last. Really disappointed! Don’t waste your money!

I’ve only had this docking station for a week but so far I am super impressed. Looks very well made and has enough ports to handle all my stuff (I did pick up a couple USB-C adapters since all my accessories are USB-A). I actually have my monitor on a stand that sits behind the unit so it gives me even more shelf space. The wireless charger works great (and fast) with my Samsung mobile. I also like the fact that Anker offers an 18-month warranty on this product.

The Anker 675 USB-C Docking Station is an amazing product. I have an ultra wide screen, stereo speakers, a USB Hub powering my keyboard and two back up drives all connected to the Anker Station. I have a second 16:9 screen to the left also which I run under the station to my lap top. And because the Anker station USB-C port is also powered when I come into my office and place the lap top on the stand, I plug in the two USB – C cables and everything is connected including power! The Anker Station still has available two additional USB 3 ports and both SD and Mini SD card slots. I would highly recommend this Docking Station. Oh did I mention it positions my monitor at the perfect working height?

There’s so many docks and stands with so many unnecessary options. Inflation doubles up on pricing for everything so you get what you paid for. But anker has reliable products and suits the needs for your devices.
I have this dock for my 2017 MacBook Pro and it does everything I need
Three USB A ports for my older devices like an external HD (one underneath the surface), and just enough for the everyday user. What I love about this is the wireless charger to the right of the dock. Sometimes I use it but it’s a great feature. The dock is durable and it’s easy to set up. Literally, you just place it wherever you want it and plug and play. You can hide at least three cords including the power cord with a wrap around placement underneath to keep your workstation neat.

I have a 16″ MacBook Pro M2 and a small desk. I’ve been running the MacBook in clamshell mode with a single 27″ monitor. I also have a webcam and a microphone attached to a dongle with USB cables. It really was a rat’s nest! I had been looking for a monitor stand that I could use to store the closed MacBook under the monitor base to save a little space. This docking station popped up on my Instagram feed. Normally I ignore Insta ads but I knew that Anker makes some quality stuff. The price is the only downside and it had me hesitating to buy it for a couple weeks. It went on a small sale and I couldn’t not buy it. Wow. This thing is fantastic. It really cleaned up my desk and it’s run flawlessly. I was able to zip-tie the power brick to the leg of my desk and it’s completely hidden. Im using the 100 watt power from the docking station plugged into one of the MacBooks USB-C ports in place of the 140 watt MagSafe power that came with my MacBook. So far no issues at all. I love the power button which I utilize at the end of my workday. I used to just leave everything running all the time. The built-in QI charger and SD card slots were unexpected useful pluses. Conclusion: This is a super well designed and quality built item. Yeah, it cost too much but I love it and use it daily so I can justify the money spent.

This is expensive but when you consider that you are essentially buying a dock, the price makes sense when you compare dock prices. I was able to get it working such that I only need to connect the dock to my Dell thin client with just a USB C thunderbolt cable (that is included). Monitor, wireless mouse and keyboard USB A, all connect via the dock. Don’t even need the power brick for my laptop anymore.

I connected my M1 MacBook Pro to this and my ProArt Display and miscellaneous items. Everything works great except the monitor. With the display set to the smaller type size the monitor keeps going black. It seems that if I make the type size larger it shows okay. I didn’t leave it that way long because I really need the extra resolution. So instead of the just a USB-C cable, I have it and the HDMI cable to unplug to use this product. Just a bit disappointed.
This thing is just a shelf now. My monitor just randomly goes black in the middle of working. Sometimes it comes back on, sometimes I have to turn the dock off and back on. Which disconnects my external hard drive. It’s useless… I have my monitor plugged directly to my laptop as well as my external hard drives. I don’t even have the shelf plugged in anymore since I almost never used the Phone charger feature. Waste of money.
